After gathering feedback from players that were unable to play last Thursday's Holiday Series events the decision has been made to restart the series beginning with Event #24 on January 7th.

Players that earned leaderboard points for Events #24 through #27 last week will keep those points. If they choose to play in the make-up Events, the better point finish between the two instances will be counted for the leaderboard.

An updated leaderboard will then be posted with current results at the conclusion of Event #27.

The rake schedule has been updated on the website and is now in effect at the tables.

Apology freerolls will be posted in the lobby soon in order to give players the opportunity to download the updated clients.

If you have questions or concerns about your account the new support email address is [email protected]

Thank you for getting everything back up and running. I've downloaded the latest Android client, my balance is right where it is supposed to be ... not zero!

I hope that you address some of the other issues, inquiries, and suggestions. Perhaps your players aren't always the most charming (neither are your mods or whatever you want to call the hall monitors you have terrorizing the chat room), but you have a good community of mostly loyal people ... many who have been around for a very, very long time.  They are worth listening to.

And I also hope that my referrals are dedicated enough to get back to playing.
Cheers & Happy New Year!  Smiley

Btw, nobody says anything about swc cutting the weekly/monthly leaderboard prizes in half?
Great first action after the comeback, lol. Cant lower the rake but the leaderboard prize pool, hahaha.

Good to see you back. I suggest you re-establish chat for all banned players. It would be a positive gesture to start the New Year in a more peaceful atmosphere.

 Wink

Or implement a banned word code where banned words only appear as xxxxxx in the chat. That way nobody can feel offended.
I dont really need my chat back (although i would welcome it) but at least let banned chat players write /action so the table appears in the chat.

Due to a gross oversight, SwC Poker has temporarily lost our .eu domain after Brexit became official. EURID posted clear rules before the change and we did not pay enough attention. There is no one else to blame but ourselves, and because we recognize our error, we are running a massive package of apology freerolls in our lobby for the next 7 days.

All funds are safe and any balance can be immediately withdrawn. SwC Poker has big plans for 2021, with a major update coming in a few months. New games, new features, and new support options will be added soon.

We thank our long time players for their support, and deeply apologize for this unexpected downtime.

The team has successfully migrated to our new home at SwCPoker.club

Players on desktop clients will need to download and install from SwCPoker.club/download

The HTML5 client can be found at play.swcpoker.club

And so now, because of a new domain (again), our affiliate links that are posted elsewhere will no longer be valid?
I guess we were due for another domain change. Sigh.

Is SWC still reachable via the old .eu email address?

I have been wondering this, too. Can we get manual withdrawals? Do you currently still have access to the data / player balances?

if that domain does not work that means the email addresses will not work either.

If that is the case, why hasn't SWC posted a new email address to be contacted at yet?

Anyone interested on a o/u bet how long it will take for SWC to come back? Setting the line 7th January 21 @ midnight.
So this is what it’s come to now that we can’t poker on SwC? We have to resort to side bets about SwC. Lol. (With sounds of internal crying...)

We already know what happened Wink .

There is no need for 100$ freerolls, just get it back up.

What about rakeback and affiliate money, is/was this getting paid?

And whats the time frame now? Guess the hours to 24-48 hour deadline wont happen.

SwC Poker made a critical oversight regarding our domain, failing to update information before Brexit. At this time we are moving the site to a new domain to be announced shortly. All funds and accounts are safe.

A schedule of apology freerolls will be added to the lobby when we come back up.

The remaining Holiday Series events will resume one week later than originally scheduled, beginning with Event #28 on Friday, January 8th.

An updated leaderboard with results through Event #27 will be posted soon.

Players that were disconnected during play and those registered in games that they were unable to participate in will be credited.

Appreciate the update, but this is a very bad look for the site.

Hopefully this is the kick in the arse needed to really push SwC Poker to become the site we all know it can become.

Astronomical levels of incompetence on display here. When the site finally does return, I will keep significantly less on there than before.

I assume everyone will - and everybody should.

Additionally, if they dare reopening the site with their old rake schedule after this fiasco, I would consider this both a slap in the face and a declaration of war on their few remaining players.

Our domain is one of the .eu domains currently experiencing issues due to Brexit. The team is working to resolve the issue and get back up and running as soon as possible.

This is very insulting to the customer base. I dislike Brexit more than anyone, but to use it as an excuse when you have failed to do the correct paperwork leaving thousands of people without access to their money is unforgivable.

Let's not pretend the form that needed to be filled out was difficult, as plenty of others managed it perfectly.
