Do you know any bitcoin poker sites with webclient?

Any site that runs Cubeia or Mavens (which Seals used to run) software has a webclient.  There are tons out there.

Do you have any plans to offer a webclient for the people, who don´t like
to download 3rd party software to their computers?

I assume that this attitude is rather common among people, who run Bitcoin or
Altcoin wallets on their computers and are therefore more interested in keeping
their computer secure compared to the average computer user.

They most certainly do not. They can't even fix their software.

Hey guys, just wondering if micon still has some connection with SWC in some way.  He did well in running it from the ground up and putting it on the poker map.  But things went sour when the police went to his place and basically harrassed him for running a Bitcoin poker site.

I hope he comes back.

He hasn't had anything to do with seals since he returned to the country and accepted a plea deal a little over two years ago.  Doubt he will ever come back.

There have been rumors that he never sold his ownership stake and has been laying low while the legal situation sorted itself out.  I wouldn't be shocked to see him as the public face of SWC at some point in 2018.

I believe his probation ended over the summer so you could be right.  I heard he was planning on going back to Antigua at some point and had something lined up there.  They got pretty fucked by Hurricane though.

I'd be very surprised if he returned to swc without leaving country.

Yeah, the implication I heard is that he ran it and just didn't do live video blogs saying "I'm breaking federal and state law" like he did back in the day.

He wasn't super smart.

I also heard that he left the country as soon as his probation was done.  Maybe he's working on a new thing?

I always lol inside when I hear "when miconn used to run the site . . . things were different in this way.  . .  ."

Any day he's going to pop into the thread and tell the world how he still runs the site and the gov't can go fuck themselves.  And he's got a couple bazookas and a mound of coke in front of him ready to rock and roll when they run in.  I just know it.  Cuz that would be the smart play and all.

That'd be like me asking for the rake to be lowered just so I could get action and lose some chips.  Ok, so maybe it's not exactly like that, but you get the point.

The split of 0.25/pt is a great move. With the bitcoin price increase, the gap between 0.10/pt and 0.25/pt was just too big. Apparently they did the same for the SNGs, and it is even better, for the same reason.

Maybe. My guess is that .10 players will keep playing .10, .25 players will move to .30, and the gap will be even bigger.

Are we sure they are really sending each transaction individually when they have more than one waiting?  Seems silly.

I checked a handful of random transactions from them from this year and every one was an individual.  And some of them had 6+ hours from when I requested it until it was sent.  It's possible that I'm the only person cashing out.

At which point everyone would know how much volume they're doing? And if Coinbase or anyone else who's tracking gambling transactions to deny people business got one address they'd suddenly have a bunch of others? That seems like it's not a very good idea.

That doesn't make any sense.  They are already sending transactions...it doesn't matter if they are sending 50 individual ones or one to 50 addresses, if they are being tracked they are being tracked and if someone wants to figure out the volume, they can figure it out.

You can figure this out whether they do one big transaction or tons a small ones.

You already only process withdraws a couple of times a day, wouldn't the easiest solution to this problem be to send all the withdraws in one transaction instead of sending each one individually?

What's with changing the OFC stakes? I'm just going to end up open sitting more tables now with .25 gone and .2 and .3 instead. Which is fine I guess but it didn't seem like there was a problem with how it was. Oh, and I guess AA is gone now, which makes me sad even though I gave up ever getting any action.

We are discussing a new plan for cashouts. We recognize that many players wish to cash out less than 20 chips, but with high fees on the Bitcoin network, we will need a plan that works for the player and the site.

The mid-stakes mix games are slowly starting to gain steam, now that the rake caps were cut in half.

Thank you for your suggestions regarding rake structure for the mid-stakes mix games. We hope the rake lowering will help to restart these games.

can you decrease the cashout limit to, say, 10 chips, since BTC price have gone so high?

also, in my opinion, we need more micro-tournaments like the Daily Crumb or something...

i would appreciate that very much! thank you!

The main issue I had was the unbeatable rake.  They fixed that.  I got my BCC and of all the (losing) pots I played this past week, none were overraked.

The mid-stakes mix games are slowly starting to gain steam, now that the rake caps were cut in half.  There are other issues that people are alluding to, but I don't understand what they are.  I can access my HHs from a folder.  Is it that people can't play from Macs?  I guess after all the scammy sites I've played on, my low bar has been set at 1) player funds are safe 2) games are secure and fair (rake) 3) the games I want to play are spread 4) traffic

I'm happy w 3.5/4 of those items currently and like everybody else, I'm hoping the latest screw up isn't right around the corner.  But unless I'm missing other major issues, this site seems better than the rest.  Tell me a better site for US player and I'll go play there.   I've tried most of them and they don't care about poker (trying to funnel poker players into casino/sportsbook instead), support isn't accessible, or the games are filled w nitty bots (WPN).

I guess I'm not in tune w the frustration over client/software upgrades because I'm a tech noob and most in the BTC space prob aren't, so their frustration goes right over my head.  I don't have DC and that's mostly what I care about wrt software.

SwC Poker has a long history of very fast cashouts, low rake, and fairness to the players. We recognize the platform needs improving and we are doing that. If you decide to play today, the game is fun and fair, with many games such as OFC, Big O, and badeucey, however you spell it Tongue

We thank the players that have stayed with us through the years.

You spelled Badeucy wrong lol.

Grin

Now fixed in the code Cool

We did not pull developers off the client software to make signatures, and we are not running a signature campaign at this time. We had our signatures designed to give affiliates an additional vector to promote and for future player facing promotions like a signature campaign which may include free chips, tournament tickets and extra krill for displaying it.

Why are you concentrating on this instead of the multitude of issues raised?

Ditto, I'm currently looking to deposit in this room, I been checking rooms on the forum to play but this one as betcoin has major issues and they aren't resolved yet, from been trusted by many to untrusted by many more.
