I wonder if this means that the modules are in KY or just the Customs paperwork? If it's actually in the US, that was frickin' quick!

I am speculating that this could be "pre-clearing". I think (speculate) it is too early for physical arrival.
It was pre-clearing. Just got an update and it's a departure scan from Stockholm.
Guess we shall see Mota...because I'm on an aggressive re-investment strategy....
especially if btc price keeps climbing, our btc buying power increases, so we need less of them to buy a mining rig. which will then more easily return the btc spent on the rig.....my game plan from day 1......

Here another interesting thing, the higher temp issue has nothing to do with how hot the ASIC is, I cool the asics fully with fans on the radiators, and point a fan to the boards, if I take the fan off the boards, the temperature rises and the die #0 issue goes away.

Seriously?! And you think VC wouldn't want a pound of flesh? Or maybe mine for themselves? Pricing was initially based upon covering non recurring engineering costs divisible by interest obtained prior to pitching to ORSoC, which was 1,000+ people, and that's without profit, now it's competitive fair market value. You would be paying more if VC were on board. Dependent on the level of interest there may not be any public sale tendered with VC.
Furthermore if you believe in the social financial project that Bitcoin is, why would you risk a purchase with them? Pay with cash if you are bullish on coin, especially for something you have to wait a period of time for, by that logic it the coin would always assume a greater value, especially when that value is relative to scarcity, and adoption. Increased media interest alone since the ECB/Cypriot cash grab in April is enough to justify that...
Yes. VC would want a share of the company. And the price would have been the same since it's "competitive market value" as you stated. My point is that the profit margin was way too high for a product which was fully funded by the people who invested into said product without quarantees and a hilariously low liability on the companys side. A profit margin for the september orders of about 500-800$ per Jupiter would have been fair; they paid for everything, mind you. In essence KNC as every other asic manufacturer got an interest free loan in the millions and decided to wring some more profit out of the nice people who lend it to them.
Actually it was a gamble based on different things. I knew atleast one other was going and some coments from orama about all modules ship on same day, pretty sure monday was mentioned. No pre info for pickup customer more than others

Ah it's a sad tale. My Arctic Freezer i30 went astray. I complained and thought Amazon had made good when I saw a UPS tracking number in my email this morning. I was wrong. It's my module. I stopped at the post office to investigate what's going on. The US Post office printed out what they have. Amazon sent my i30 to 7315 Calle Alma, Carlsbad, CA 92009 and the origin is listed as Carlsbad, CA 92011. They're trying to get one for me but it might take a few days and they'll call back when a tracking number is available.
It happens often. It's racism. I'm a New Yorker living in rural Georgia. The incidence of packages going astray is unbelievably high if shipped from another state, i.e. Florida or California. Whites who have a problem with Blacks who moved to their state from Georgia or Blacks who feel Georgians are racist.

Very interesting. So the 4 holes around the ASIC do correspond with either Intel or AMD mounting holes. I wonder why in that case KNC ended up using their custom "metal bar" adapter and attaching it to the 2 holes at the ends of the board.
That I have indeed wondered as well.
It's interesting, I couldn't use the mounting hardware, as the spacers were too tall, and the block wouldn't touch. So I simply used some longer screws (same thread as your cd-rom uses) and then used the pegs from the back plate of the heatsink. It's an Intel fit, I think the LGA1156, but not sure, as the heatsink as a slider area for the mounting holes. I then used the corsair mounting hardware to connect the 2 boards.
