I think that a reasonable compromise, would be to promise to only punch him in the dick with 5% of your available power  Tongue

i nominate searing to donate a cube.

hes poisoned enough of our eyeballs with dumb shit for long enough and its too hot where he is to get the most out of his cubes

plus hes already in the black, in the black already, sigh, repeat, repeat, repeat, sigh, repeat.

i think he owes it to jelin & jelins 'friend'

and/or alh can if jelin or jelins 'friend' can fix fried shit.

on another note - im about to dump[ old ants/jupiters & thought what would the price need to be to make them profitable? has anyone calculated it?

i 'would' but i stabbed myself in the eyes due to the ongoing offensive postings of some of the residents here...

Recently I bought used Neptune, but PCIE-E power connectors on 4 Cubes were fired. Seller is not responding...
What is the exact Molex Product number for this connector? I only know that it should be Mini-Fit Plus HCS series rated 13A, dual row, right angled, but there are many types...
Somebody knows? Thanks.

My understanding is that is truly the catastrophic point of failure for the Neptune. If you are going get out your soldering iron, you might want to consider doing something different, and more robust, than just replacing the PCIe power connector. The PCIe connector is not rated for the power draw of the Neptune.

It's a real problem as I understand it, though I don't own one.

Well I have proof the KNC machines are EVIL ...combined 2 titans never mine more then 650mh ...we have 90+F heat and 106F Heat index
my Titans combined sat a 666mh ALL DAY LONG about 14hrs or more ..you guessed it ...........I took that as a bad bad sign.....being KNC Titan's being evil and all... Smiley

Basement temp was 89F

91c was on a few dies in bsmt otherwise was like 82-85c more or less at the dies 55c was high on 1 cube

go figure...wild day......was like the equiv of 'hot yoga' for asic machines Smiley Figured if I shut them down they'd just never come back up....knc product

it will cool down to 72F and they will promptly 'croak' ...being 'evil' and all don't ya know.... Smiley

has someone details about this?

They are growing pretty fast  Embarrassed Maybe their retired hardware gets profitable again, due to the current BTC rise.

But the most important thing to know about Bitfury is, they do NOT sell to home miners at all. They are strictly for large-scale, industrial mining operations.

Not too long ago, you could buy their miners at GHASH.IO, respectively exchange hashing power (GHS) against miners, but the prices were totally amiss.

Sorry for OT.

has someone details about this?

What kind of details are you looking for? They are replacing their old gen chips with their newest 28nm chip!

I just never noticed them in this graph in the past. Maybe this is a chance to acquire used and obsolete hardware from them  Cheesy

Bitfury's previous generation was 55nm ~1w/GHs, if I'm not mistaken. I think they may have improved upon the initial 55nm chip and increased efficiency somewhat. At least that's what their "products" page says...
http://www.bitfury.org/products.

They have supposedly developed a super-efficient 28nm chip but none have been seen in the wild. And some doubt it wasn't successful and may have completely failed. But um... apparently they have mining light bulbs nearly ready for release, lol.

I will give to him my controller card

And I want someone to give one cube

because you have a second controller I suppose? Just send him one of your cubes as well, the 'community' will thank you. You should have ROI'd anyways by now.
