Ok, cool, but now what am I meant have done ref the above?!
You lied to my face, and Redacted about his unit's RMA.

No. I didn't I asked Emilia, she was sitting next to me there and then, Redacted confirmed. What's the problem?

my trust of orama decreases everyday....sigh
And he hasn't responded to that, while responding to others.
Also got a nice email from KnC today... actually verifying that the RMA has been received. 1 day after UPS said it was delivered, and 2 days after Orama said a replacement had already been dispatched.

i really refused to believe it, but its pretty clear now that he was always a paid shill for the company. pretty smooth. fooled me.

Sorry am I missing something, what are you on about?

I want to know why someone who doesnt officialy work for the company is giving out company info... is that not again privacy laws in the EU? I know here in the US I could get in serious trouble giving out another company's internal info.

I requested a bitpay refund for 3 November Jupiter's.  I should be receiving a refund of $15,395  ($410 of that was for shipping)

The refund pending option shows $13,896 is what i will get back when logging into my account.  Whut?

Weird, because with this high BTC value I can image some are even turning on gpus for BTC again..

I said it would plateau a few weeks back and was laughed out of the thread, someone threatened to remind me about it to, 'saved for posterity' I believe.

Fact is, there it was, the largest shift in Bitcoin tech, with not really anything else coming online currently, certainly not in line with what just occured. That seismic shift in hashrate, equal to the entire cumulative hashrate since Bitcoins inception 4 3/4 years ago will never reoccur with such impact, in such a short period of time ever again.

Wink

Dude the hashrate is about to level out for a bit not, continue growing like this for a while. This has been the first shipment of a major die shrink. If anything it shows the genesis block was way off base all along, as I previously stated. This will be a huge step up over a couple of weeks and then there won't be anything in such a huge multiple in one go on to make such a marked effect on the hashrate again for sometime. More a plateau You certainly won't see a doubling of the current hashrate as it stands after the KnC delivery for a while yet, even during their November shipment. If they were to ship anywhere near what they shipped just now, it'll increase the current hashrate by a proportion, not a multiple due to the cumulative effect of this wave.

Dear reader,

Please, if you like to deal with strictly factual information, ignore the amount of gibberish stated the above quote.

Yours faithfully,

Augusto Croppo.

Can some one tell me the exact height of a jupiter.   I see the number on their site but that seems rounded and I am wondering if this actually fits in a 4U slot since the rack needs to have shelves (which take some of the 4U space).
thanks

18cm exactly without the rubber feet which you can remove.
With them: 18.5cm

Your return arrived today, was processed and repaired today, and left here by courier today.

In and out the same day.

That two week stuff is nonsense, you weren't even issued the RMA until the 29/10/13 (last Friday) it's in the RMA code itself.
https://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/track?HTMLVersion=5.0&loc=en_US&Requester=UPSHome&WBPM_lid=homepage%2Fct1.html_pnl_trk&trackNums=46808822179%0D%0A&track.x=Track

I got just off the phone with UPS. Not only was the address provided in the RMA email wrong (according to UPS), but it still has not been delivered and is scheduled for tomorrow.... meaning either you or UPS is lying. The tracking would indicate UPS is right... and at least my UPS Account Rep has the decency to get back to me in a timely manner.

Haha. You also blatantly lied about it having been received. Now have confirmation from both UPS and KnC that it has not arrived... care to explain yourself?

"Hi,

This has not yet arrived at our location. Could you please provide a tracking number so that we can chase it?

Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks
Emilia

At this difficulty GPU mining is completely out of the question unless you're on free energy. And even then these cannot make an impact.

Takes over 1,250 GPUs at 400MH/GPU to equal 1 Jupiter. I doubt GPUs will be any profounding impact.

if electriciy is for free a 7970 will produce $0.24 a day right now, if you bet BTC value increases you might turn on again
and those usbminers consume 2,5W at 333MH/s

edit:
it's like ants - a single one is a joke, but when they reach up to 2-3m² you're in trouble
little exaggerated, I know, just want to point out that flattening/decrease is a little weird under current conditions - but for sure I have no fear of gpus with a Jupiter Smiley

I've seen a few mentions here about a "10% discount" on BTC payments. Where does that appear on the KNC website?
