Will knCMiner offer Batch 1 Titan customers bonus mining cubes just like Nepy customers?
If yes, I'll be very happy~

Customers are lucky just to get them a year late, there was no refunds on them like with the Neps.

No they won't. You don't want them.

I've noticed something. I've gotten my massive Monarch order from ButterflyLabs (even though I had to wait a year), and when I compare the products to KNC's Titans... I just feel weird about this. Both companies took a year too long to deliver their products realistically for customers to ROI. When I received from both of them, ButterflyLabs actual hardware is soo much more premium. No broken screws or faulty hardware/software. Just works. I realize BFL assembles in the USA, but that shouldn't matter with units that boast "efficiency". Freaks me out that no legit company can provide a premium product on time. Spondoolies is he closest i've seen.

Still waiting on hearing back for an RMA on the board that doesn't work. Even added new SD card, flashed it, and formatted. Nothing. I am so livid with this company, i mean, we've already lost a lot, and when you spend as much as you do and the cannot immediately return your messages and get you mining, considering we've already lost so much, it's just plain wrong.

I hope someone exposes this company for what they are, a den of theives taking our $$ for Venture Capitial and then funding their own operation with preorder money, instead of going to bank getting loans, they use this method of screwing over us.

Think i read last year they netted 100 million. Yes, we should be very very pissed off here.

did you try the replacement raspberry pi B+ swap (see prev msgs this thread if not) ..the ONLY other thing I can think of I heard is PULL the LCD and try it (any port and if that don't work the LCD port) and see if you can get a cube to fly

really reaching here...but that is the only thing i can think for you to do at this point except wait for hopefully a 'prompt' reply/action from KNC

others on here probably have better advice...something I heard...sometimes the LCD was wonky.......prob won't work but wtf worth a shot it is not like pulling the LCD is
going to hurt anything ...I"m running one controller w/o an LCD on all 6 ports with cubes

last thing that comes to mind is I heard of one case where the ribbons (all of them sent with a unit) were 'wired' wrong or backwards or some such....but that was at the beginning of first batch orders back in 2014...maybe your unit was so new in the assembly ....they screwed up the first run of such in some like manner in 2014 batch 1 shipments

KNC has a real problem with construction and such of first units of any kind when they ramp up for shipping.......

good luck all that comes to mind others on here may have further info to try

Sent a broken Titan module and a month later got a 100% working one. Am I lucky or is KNC doing a better job of supporting their customers.

imho you are very lucky...at this point in time wrapping up the last of the Titans out the door I'd be surprised if they have more then 2 techs on hand for RMA's it is not
like they had a lot of techs popping out fixed product before they shut down support forums and such ....so for 2nd batch guys if there is a rush of RMA's a month may look
miraculous

I sent several cubes back in the fall... they never returned any of them. Not even one. They won't even respond to my e-mails for updates.

The Titans or the Neptunes?

Would anybody by chance have screen grabs of the old KNC news releases? They deleted all of their old promises from their site. In particular I need the news release from April, 2014 announcing the delay and compensation by August?

I have this thing going on in Stockholm I need it for...

Doh. Yes. Thank you. Don't know why that didn't occur to me...

So how many of these Titan 2 miners will come online exactly? Looks like the difficulty went down and now back up.

the 'rumor' i heard way back was they shipped 2.5K of units 1st batch (heh amazing how that works with no refunds) and about that amount for their 2nd batch

I very much doubt that. Towards the end of batch 1 I checked their cart using the well known method of trying to order a very large number of Titans. The cart would reply with an error message which told the customer how many were actually available. IIRC there were something like ~900 left when they closed batch 1.

I got the impression that they couldn't sell all of batch 1 so they closed it and announced batch 2 to save face. I'd be very surprised if they sold many batch 2 miners. Its possible they closed them out at wholesale to a bulk buyer, but few people were buying batch 2 machines at those prices at that time.

I also believe that the reason they brought out the mini Titans was to try to clear unsold stock.

yeah as I said ....was some 'hype' someplace ...back when everyone 'thought' they had ethics that they sold 2.5K of 1st batch units etc.....it is in some KNC propaganda someplace...the 2nd batch the same blather ...

I really really hope you are correct..I may not be able to get 'all' my $$$ back on this bad investment..but with being a legal miner in usa and equip deductions...and  what I may mine even at this low LTC rate ....if we get a good BTC and on coat tails LTC correction up in price...I may JUST may... with electric use (and this 2nd cheaper titan I got) only be 1/4 the price I paid for this no refund no roi orig titan unit delivered around 3.75 months late (later for others)...that is a lot of running around in dismay to lose only 25% to those KNC crooks

900 left sounds very encouraging......don't suppose anyone has any idea on batch 2 stuff with the same trick and/or the 150mh units? .

(heh ...I forget this is KNC we are talking about.....I still expect a Titan Data Hall out of these guys even if not on any big scale ..simply because they have the chips and they can....yet another thing I 'hope' I am incorrect about.....I so want them so 'overextended on the bitcoin data hall(s) that a Titan data hall is just not possible with the drop in btc price etc....)
