The Nasdaq bitcoin certificate XBT Provider now opened up trading again. KNC could no longer be guarantor and trading has been halted since May 30. XBT provider now has a new guarantor.
http://www.xbtprovider.com/lang_en/news

Does not mean much in that Sam Cole and the other principles from KNC own the majority of this. Did not hear a lot of yelling for IPO $$$ for this venture.

Where all the $$$ went don't ya know. Sam used to a banker so it all becomes clear now imho Smiley

Still no big difficulty jump back for LTC imho. The difficulty rises we have seen could be from only the price jump in LTC price.

So I am still wondering if there really was a Titan Farm they never let on about. That was shut down by KNC (Someone said the 19% difficulty drop in LTC was equiv to 666 Titans)

I gotta say they sure mucked up by 'bankrupting early' with the BTC shooting up etc.....poor fellows only made so many $$$ not the much more $$$ they

could have made..if they'd stuck it out longer they'd be golden (again from what I can tell)

The "farm" just changed names,I'm sure Sammy boy didn't get rid of it.The diff & network haven't dropped any amount so.........

Found this article and translated it (kinda) with google translate. I did not realize that KNC managed to get 250 million bucks for an investment on their now defunct company. I mean really 1/4 of a Billion Bucks!! Sheesh. (Evil: We do it well.) (tm KNC)

Anyway here is the link:

Considering my two Titans only average 568 Mh/s (They did do over 600 Mh/s for six days) I have mixed feelings on the KNC bankruptcy. There was definitely no advantage to receiving the first two Titans shipped as far as I know (since later ones shipped exceeded 800 Mh/s for two). My two neptunes did break even and then I shut them off.

Definitely when the Titans die off my mining days will be over.

Makes you realize that "we" (as in greedy bitcoiners) gave them money up front to develop their ASIC's.
Without people buying preorders, KnC would have been nothing.

True but to be fair they were a 'very legit' company with the KNC Jupiter 550gh stuff in 2013. The took paypal no one had any issues at all.

IT was the $$$ ...when they figured out they could mine themselves around jan 2014 and then went to the dark side.

Like NUN to PORNSTAR it was that shocking.

Of course I'd switched my Neptune to a Titan like a week or so before the Frankenjupiter mess...then the IRS 2013 guidelines came out

sheesh...

but anyway ..it was like finding out your 'nice' neighbor was chopping up neighbor kids and putting them in the freezer it was that shocking to me anyway.

(Also explains why I and others are so over the top p/o'd ......human nature being what it is...the whole thing shifting that quick freaked us all out...and then
as we have come to find out since the 'lies' on what could or could not be done on hardware/firmware from knc forums and techs...well anyway quite the ride)

anyway my 2 satoshsi's

When are you going to ship them?

Alright, I just received my second batch of Titan Bridge Boards. 3-4 boards are still available to be sold before I ship everything out to everybody (lowered price of 0.20 BTC each since I ordered a bigger batch this time.). If you want one, be sure to PM me.

The same question here. I hope that you write when my 10 Bridge Boards shipped is.

No shortage of hash powr (the .7v) down there either.

What does this mean? Is it bad idea to under volt the dies? I thought it was good thing to do, less electricity and less heat.
No I was talking about the fact that the units had enough power planes going to the dies without having to run huge amounts of low voltage electricity across the board. Undervolting is fine, but lower voltage to maintain the same hash rate requires higher current.

Thanks for the explanation!

More likely Kroner, not USD. That would be ~ 30M USD

I like that better. Much less they got away with.
