Linux since 1997 RedHat 4
http://kncminer.com/ is just loading the default godaddy portal for me...

the address is www.kncminer.com but thanks for this i will create the default DNS redirect
Usual comment from me ...
Send me one and I'll write cgminer support for it and then have proof that the device you sent me works and mines ...
If you want to get ahead of the current ASIC devices, design it for direct USB support, use a better chip than the FTDI and allow for multiple I/O paths - e.g. one to query the device and send work to a queue and a separate one to wait on replies.
Polling sux, I/O queues are good.

(whatever happened to helveticoin or are these two ventures related?).

I’m wondering the same thing. I kind of wish they are, we will find out soon.

Another block in the wall
Same. I will gladly pay the price if the specifications are reasonable and there is absolute proof they have a product. For me this would mean pictures, video, and most importantly a trusted forum member looking at the units.

But this looks like the most promising ASIC offering besides Avalon (whatever happened to helveticoin or are these two ventures related?).

Watch this thread for updates.

Interested and placed an order today.

The OP seems legit... but I hope he understands some will not send actual funds until there is proof of a product.

BFL already left a sour taste in my mouth.

...and the BitcoinKid
I love that everyone is asking to meet their grandma, but the fact is there are no specs except dimensions and weight. It could do 3.14MH/s and need a small nuclear reactor to power it  Huh

They are in the early stages of development now and will be ready in the summer of 2013 (yes in just a few months)

I am sure you can understand why most people will have a hard time believing this statement. Here are some questions that should be answered before you are taken seriously:

1) Will you have a trusted third party verify your claims before you accept any money?
2) Will you accept payment methods with buyer protection such as Paypal and credit cards?
3) Will you offer escrow service?
4) Do you already have funding or will you be using the "deposits" to complete manufacturing?

I hope you have some good answers to these questions to quiet the scammer alert beeping in my head...

what a easy way to harvest valid email addresses for spamming.

It is easy to block for me. If they spam me, it is only one click.

I don't see a lot of spammers posting their names & addresses for us to check them out.

I'm interested and registered for a pre-order.  Will be watching with great expectation for a new product!

Is your plan to take pre-orders to develop your hardware or do you have external financing to cover the development process? I only ask as if you are in the second situation then you can accept a trivial($5 USD) non-refundable 'pre-order' to reserve a unit. When the device is completed and functioning as expected you can then open up sales to your 'pre-order' customers and sell the remaining units in a first come first served process.

Also, consider a smaller device. This surge in prices effectively leaves BFL as the only company shipping a sub-$1000 product, of which I imagine there are thousands of customers looking for an alternative in that price range.

That is not that uncommon as you only need 15% cash, the rest bank will lend you.
But that still doesn't prove that the OP is who he says he is since all information is publicly available... anyone with half a brain can dig that up (which is not too common in the scammer world fortunately).

OP: Put your company address onto your website, so it can be verified? Scan your business registration and upload it here? Take some photos of your office/workshop? Meet at least two trusted forum members to verify your ID in person? Show proof of ASIC development? Then we can talk.

From the looks of it, they are running their shop from home which is acceptable for me... but I could be wrong.

The phone number is ours. But it was previously held by the company you mentioned. Unfortunately the information of the old owner is widely spread and we dont have control over all sites keeping old data.

Thats fine and easy to verify.
Still, would you agree on meeting in person in Stockholm so I can verify your identities?
if you want my opinion,
verifying his identity would not give any proofs of their ability to deliver

waste of time

i could make such a similar posts and website and still have nothing to deliver

I also doubt that they will be able to deliver within the specified timeframe, but one does not how long they have been working/preparing on it so I will give them the benefit of a doubt.
Also, if identities are confirmed, it will be easier to hold them accountable if need be.

What are you trying to say? Only two of the names match. There are 100 000+ people with the first name Bengt in Sweden, do you find it hard to believe two of those could have one similar middle name?? phew...
