I was very jealous when the bonus Neptune was announced after I chose the FrankenJup option. But I feel vindicated for choosing the Super/FrankenJup now.

I've been hashing those FrankenJups (plus extra "free" boards plus bought controllers, 4.5-5THs) for what seems forever in BTC time. Sure, I'll have to shut them all down very soon but I think it worked out better in the end.

Hash now is always better than hash later, when difficulty/nethash is always growing. This is a fact.

has anyone received the tracking numbers ( Titan) ?

hell they can't even tell us what brand of power supply that works with their Titans yet (see forum)

they are shooting these Titans out the door with the firmware barely intact.....

I fear another frankenjupiter with my Titan(ic) order

but then again we are their last customers of equip as they go to cloud mining so they don't seem to give a f*ck

The king is dead (BFL) long live the new scam king (KNC)

round/and round it goes

I was a customer of the KNC since the days of Mercury . When they came out updates ( add-on cards ) I bought 3 of these .

In this way I had a Jupiter . The best miner ever built.

Taken by the wave of enthusiasm I bought a Neptune . The Neptune was a bad purchase without the possibility of roi , except for those who have requested the refund and repurchased ( with money from the compensation ) other btc .

Titan is proving to be a mega failure. Someone managed to get the refund ?

no no refund..and they are shipping and have told folks they have to change the power plug or get y adapters..they are gonna provide but not there yet (titan)
also they can't tell us what kind of power supplies to get nor wire size (i think 16awg min) also they just state the recomend 2 850w units per titan (1100 watts) due to
probs they had with plugs burning out (see www.kncminer.com forum)

last but not least..the firmware is barely (days) out of working so they can they say start shipping now

if I get 1/2 of the purchase price back I will be amazed thru any mining that is no refunds now at knc on 3rd batch neptunes and titans

also asked if we could xfer the titan purchase to their arctic cloud hashing (NO) but I suspect the free compensation Neptunes  at the end for the Neptune folks and the 3rd batch Neptunes will be allowed to convert to cloud hashing which would turn a 5995 3rd batch Neptune into a (turn on same day) 9.5 th unit for the same price

they will do this imho bet on it..they can get rid of the jupiter modules with the neptunes and after 6 months it is theres....no brainier improve the data halls guickly

they are never gonna make equip again..one of the rare cases in asic mining making where 1st batch 2nd batch Neptunes and titans customers were royallyed screwed

fankenjupiter all over again ..or should I say Titanic!

also their arctic cloud hashing is ONLY available OUTSIDE the EU....due to the EU having tough consumer protection (you can see where this is going) laws..heh Smiley

they went from the pope to darth vader in a year....I guess money really does corrupt don't  ya know.. I heard they made easy ecess of 100 million and have huge
bitcoin data halls going strong now...pesky customers can eat it now

The King is dead (BFL) long live the new king (KNC)

round/round it goes

Dear KnCMiner,

Just wondering when my Two-for-one Neptune will be shipping?

I am a batch 1 (paid June 2013) Jupiter customer and a batch 1 (customer appreciation batch, paid November 2014) Neptune customer.

Kind regards,
Zelek Uther

Hi,

Apologies for the long delay in reply. We are concentrating on producing and shipping the paid orders as those take a priority. Once the paid orders have completed shipping we will release a news update with more information about the bonus miners.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

They could be shipping paid orders forever. I wish he had qualified that with "batch 3" or a date.

this is what kfc replied me about the bonus miner:

At the moment we don't have the dates for shipping Neptune bonuses.
Hopefully we will be able to release more information about the dates soon.

"soon" forever.

Also it appears that the titan will be a fire hazard just like the neptune due to its design, any fire marshals reading this.

Power draw is still around 300-400w per cube, if they didnt add another pciE connector - yes.

knc are crooks, they promised not to mine over 5% of the customers hash rate and they mine at about 10% of the total hash rate.
I requested a refund for my batch 1 titan and it was denied, even though according to Swedish law I am entitled to a refund, and the contract did not specify that refunds would not be honored.

I hope the same thing that happened to BFL happens to KNC, all crooks should be taken down.

Sam I would appreciate if you could give a refund for my Titan, since you are not respecting your end of the deal, otherwise I would expect you to mine only 5% of the customers hash rate.

How many times do you have to get screwed by a miner mfgr before you qualify for senior membership ?

You need to be screwed by at least 3 before you are upgraded

is far more disturbing. Do I get a device which is already broken before it leaves the factory?

what farce this is. Imagine you get such a troubleshooting guide with your new car...

Have you ever read a car's troubleshooting guide? It's pretty exhaustive.
