OK, maybe somebody already asked this question. I'm just wondering if I need to request order cancellation and refund.

Is it Neptune (2nd batch) still profitable if it comes out in next new weeks?

depends on in how many weeks and machine parameters.
If it will be July 1 and 6 Th/s-awesome, if it is Aug 1 and 6th/s-meh because Spond will probably have 6th in July.
If it is July 1 and 4.5-th -good, but overpriced at $13K, could be OK at $10K.

Thanks. Mine: 3TH, $10K. I guess it will be risky, let alone by that time, there are lots of Neptune around (mine in the second batch, even worse.)

even if it says 3th, it is entirely possible that they will deliver 4.5th instead; some profitability calculators already assuming this-I wonder why?  Wink
also, because of cancellations, I would think that what was formerly batch 2 will be close to batches 0 and 1. i estimate that at least 50% of all orders were either cancelled or changed to superjupiters and Titans.

I wonder why the majority of bitcoin miner producing companies are doing almost exactly the same:
First BFL and hashfast, now presumably cointerra and KnC
http://www.coindesk.com/cointerra-tackles-backlog-200-refund-requests-complaints-mount/

Do they think people have short memories or what?

You know what all of these companies have in common?  They all operated on pre-orders and tried to design/fab/build these high-output multi-die single-'chip' ASICS.  Who hasn't shit the bed?  All of the people shipping from stock using arrays of smaller chips to reach high hash rates.

On April 11 I cancelled our most recent order from kncminer.  On April 24 I received a "refund" that is short of the correct amount by more than $6,000 USD. I've gone round and round with support staff about this, and the final word (from Sam) is that they have no intention of paying me one cent more.

Sorry to pile on to this, but I thought it best to let you all know.

Serious? How can there be such mathematical error and they don't see it? This is hard to understand.

The error is the guy is claiming the 'favorable' side of the exchange rate on both ends of his transaction.  KnC pays/receives in $ at all times.  It is easy to 'imagine' they owe you the more favorable denomination.  KnC should quit selling to idiots to avoid these kinds of problems.

Can you explain how this came to be for the benefit of others who may be facing similar fraudulence?

sorry to hear they raped you too - the fearful part is we are going to get used to it and start liking it... Embarrassed

Yes please elaborate, I'd guess that the disputed amount revolves around the change in BTC price, OP is trying to get the same amount of BTC back that he paid, but KNC have refunded the $ amount, in which case there is no scam.

let's have some fun
Seems like they're running out of money.
I know they mine a lot each day, but they are at the same time investing in additional Datorhalls etc..

kncminer say will send neptune this month
to the end of month

and no refunds fuckers

Wait a moment. They refused to refund you after telling you several times you have to wait a little ?!!

This is fraud.
Call the Swedish authorities and file a complaint.
B2B is no excuse to rip off.

It's now been 54 days since i have requested a refund. There is NO EXCUSE good enough to justify this. KNC is a scam.

Call the Swedish authorities and file a complaint as well.
B2B is no excuse keep your funds longer than 30 days after the initial request, as far as I know..
