Not even enough for a game of satoshidice, now that is a big F you from KnC....... how dare they give away dust.....
I think it's a great marketing idea and a $25,000 investment to get more users involved in BTC.
All good.

I was speaking in jest and trying to mimic the moans and groans that have filled this thread this year.......

lol..sorry (I just never know on this thread)
At the same time though, i only found out about the app by reading this thread a few weeks back, so joined the mailing list as a beta tester.
I got a newsletter update today about the official appstore release. I have not read anything about this app else where and i highly doubt it has been advertised to a market who do not already own bitcoin.
I think they are relying on it becoming a bit "viral"

Are we all going to cry they are giving away our btc now.......

edit: i tried to use the beta, but i never got passed the part where it asks for my mobile number....... pretty sure the app asks for permission to read that kind of thing. I don't know my number off by heart, fetching it would involve going back and at that point the app losses my interest.

October Saturn

So I upgraded from 0.98.1 to 1.00 and all went well.
Without any further adjustments I went from WU 3943 to 3948.
Hashing though went from 284.4 to 282.2 but fewer HW and no rejects.

So I increased clock frequenzy to 775 Mhz and got WU at 4080 and hashing at 292GH.
So all is good.

I have the feeling my miner can easily handle a higher clockfrequenzy.
So I made a configuration backup and looked into the file advanced.conf and can see the clock frequencies are set at 775 Mhz.

Did anybody try to adjust this number up and what was the result?
I did not dare try yet. Somebody wants to comment?

Upgraded one Nov Jupiter to 1.00. Went from 680 to 685 GH/s. Can't complain here. Will do the other tomorrow.

Is a HARD reboot (Power Off/On) required after the firmware upgrade ?

Anyone else upgrade to new firmware on Oct. Jupiter? Any hashing success or failure?? I see one failure so far.....

October 5-headed monkey. After upgrade, it performed worse (~730 GH) than previously overclocked (I used simple "221", was ~790GH at the pool). But better than previous firmware with default settings (without overclocking).

Upgraded to new 1.0 Firmware, my November Jupiter went from 669 GH to 683 GH without any tweaking. HW errors went from around 2% to 0.01%...

I've gone back and recalculated the Boten facility, if they can get 200GH/s a board with Nov. boards and 1.00 firmware then that's 200TH/s a row so it looks like they're adding a row a day...

Edit: all of my units show increased speed with just installing 1.00, but I didn't install on the 2 over clocked units yet...

How can we wake a dead Die up for Nov. Jupiter?
The option Auto SPI Voltage can't be unchecked to select SPI Voltage manually as Oct. Miners.
I have tried with many Voltage value on the dead Die but it does not work.
Anyone knows, please help!

I'm making .15-.25btc/day on 15MH which isn't even my full capacity.

What kind of power consumption is 15MHs?
