paid in btc - refunded in fiat today (refund requested 2nd february)

immediately wrote back to 'kurt'

i received 5,941.78 GBP today which equals 9,896.52 US Dollar

As you will be aware, i paid 10,253 USD to you on the 23rd of Dec.

Can you explain where 356.48 USD / 213.54 GBP has gone??

and more importantly can you see a way to rectify this discrepancy?

Sincerely

I thought the exact same thing when I read that long boring post... it was either Orama or someone else that worked for KNC

let us know what KNC do about your skimmed refund?

what about others that got fiat refund, were you ripped off also?

KNC are probably skimming 2% to 3% from all refunds which could equate to over a million dollars stolen. thinking that no one will notice.

is knc doing anything at all now? they seem fucking useless now...

where is orama? where is sam?

KNC have gone to shit, i hope they go bankrupt.

If you want communication from knc, this is not the place. Go to their forums, there is a support rep named Kurt constantly answering questions every day.

If BTC was $800+ trust me they wouldn't be refunding anything in BTC.

And bitoramaabama or whatever his name is, he's a company man now. Company men don't participate in the bitcoin threads.

....And 'Old Dominiom' was Alex'wantedtobeandgotpwndbyswedes'orama....

he had to get that shit off his birdchest....the gimp!

I vaguely remember that long post. Was it "Old dominion" rather? Right now search does not show anything on "old dominion" or even "old domimiom" (misspelled)

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5163726

It cannot be Alex-a lot of irrelevant info.
To the point:
I think that KnC is shooting itself in the foot in proverbial sense by posting contradictory info constantly.

Examples:
1. "get some coins ready" Dec14-nothing since then
2. "limited" batch 2 of 1200 units, suddenly-"1000 units-second half of batch 2"
3. "We will take care of our customers" (Kurt on knc forum) with no actual info to share.
4. We will only hash at 5% of customers orders-witness the 1300Th monster grow more. 1300Th is WAY more
than 5% (produced ~2000BTC in ~2wks)
5. Nothing in "official KnC channels" about Feb 12 swedish video and local.se followup in english. Nothing about it on Twitter as if it does not exist.
6. knccloud.com domain and nothing about it posted
7. refunds only in $$-only to change the tune when it is convenient (not that anybody is complaining).

The answer is obvious.

KNC makes over 1 million dollars every 2 weeks. Due mining for themself. Tendence rising.

Accordingly, they no longer need to please their customers.

they shit on us!

Refunded.  Wire charges amount to $18.  So, Thursday refunds don't arrive on Tuesday but Wednesdays.

Are people buying coins with the refunded amounts?  I'm at a bit of a loss at what to do with the new funds.. Re-invest in BTC or keep the USD and pay off the house Smiley

There is really no hardware that has a chance to roi right now, antminer at 1.4 was doable but not anymore.

Depends on your mortgage rate, if it is <=4% i would not pay it off, those are historical lows But if you have a high rate it is worth to pay it off.

You best bet is to invest back into btc given the recent price drop, buy 25%, if it drops another 10%, buy another 25% etc..  i would also put 10% into dogecoin in case this thing takes off, it has a fanatic following other alts do not also its small unit of denomination is an advantage, people are more comfortable/wired to use whole numbers instead of fractions day over day.

Get your hands in all the cookie jars.

in 2 days increased 40% from 1000Th/s to 1400Th/s... where our neptunes?? there are our neptunes...?

Another double row is activated (first one side, then another-it is all visible on a graph)-see previous calculations.
I hope that once they reach ~3000Th, batch zero will be "fulfilled" and start hashing for Neptune preorders, assuming 20% refunds in batch zero.
I know that there are no guarantees, but it would be a logical thing to do.
Anything else (buildup without hashing for customers) would be tremendously upsetting for all people who preordered.

This of course is all just MY Opinion. I could be wrong. (but don't count on it)

Smiley

If it's just your opinion, and that you for putting that in there, then surely they can't be "facts of life" or. "reality" right?

Wink

Well you keep hoping that my "opinions" turn out to be wrong.

I am very tempted to ask for a refund ...

paying 10,181.00 USD for a Neptune, asking for a refund now I should have 16 Bitcoin. (10,181 divided by $ 630)

right ?
Well, I suspect you'll just get 10,181USD (in 3-10 days) which you can then use to buy BTC at the BTC price in 3-10 days time.
It doesn't sound like single Neptune order refunds are getting BTC refunded if the Neptune was paid for in BTC.
