None of my packages from knc had any sort of customs paperwork on them. I've had more complicated morning poops. They must have done it right with a prearranged customs broker that got everything approved.... Or just luck. I remember losing multiple lasers from wickedlasers to customs a few years ago.

Who's bought from Knc Miner in the past and lives in Canada and or the US?

What did Knc Miner mark the value of the miner as?
Did you have to pay any duty and brokerage fees?

I am just wondering if they are going to mark the value down or if I am going to be stuck paying $1560 plus a brokerage fee when my Neptune finally shows up!?

I'm in USA did not pay anything.....as to value....not sure if a value was even added in my case..

anyway just saying that is what was what I my case

So you never looked at the paper work that was on the box in the plastic envelope? Smiley

That's where you will find all the important details.

I've been watching this on the neptune batch 1,2,3,4 stuff and if you look on KnC's site it goes down like this:

1st batch - pre-existing customers only at $10K - shipment Q1/Q2
General release - anyone could order at $13K - shipment Q1/Q2
2nd general release batch - anyone can order at $10k - shipment in Q2 at least 1 month after the general release batch

So, honestly time will tell when everyone will get their miners. It's just all speculation at this point since it's months out and we have no more info to go on. If you want a 2nd batch Neptune they are still available (912 left). I do believe they might release some Junipers since they're a little crazy like that. If they do I certainly will pick one up if the price is reasonable.

FYI , so you don't confuse anyone it should look like this:

Pre-Release - pre-existing customers only at $10K - shipment Q1/Q2
1st batch release - anyone could order at $13K - shipment Q1/Q2
2nd batch release - anyone can order at $10k - shipment in Q2 at least 1 month after the general release batch

Thanks for the response smoothrunnings -- I'd just figured that the second batch had sold out but apparently that was not the case. It's curious that this one says definitively Q2. Hopefully the first batch still has the Q1/Q2 designation. Who knows what difficulty will be like once we get there.

Who told you the second batch was sold out?

For me the game changer is that this disappeared in the batch sold now:

I'm sorry for asking, but I can't keep up with this thread... But so now there's a third batch of Neptunes back at $10k? What is the definitive timeline on releases for these? Neptune 1.0 ($10k), then 2 weeks later Neptune 2.0 ($13k), then Neptune 3.0 ($10k)? It all seems a bit screwy.

Again, I'm sure this has been covered, sorry for asking.

There has only been 2 versions of the Neptune's thus far, batch 1 and batch 2. Batch 1 was offered to Knc Miner's customers ONLY initially at 10k, then 30 days later the same unit was offered to everyone else for $13k. As things have progressed in the bitcoin hardware manufacture Knc for whatever reason decided to lower the price on the batch 2 units to $10k.

When you bought your new car, and months later the price dropped did you ask the dealership to reimburse the difference? I hope not! Smiley

Question about the "common information" page when you log onto Kncminer.com and click "my account" it asks you for your wallet id, mining pool, and your user and worker ID, what exactly is this for?

Thanks

when they test a unit it goes to your address...was like a 3 day hiint before shipping that my jupiter unit was made/working and tested     fyi

by the by someone said you can't get refunds on neptunes anymore in a prev post I know someone who is getting 2 neptunes refunded as of a couple days ago from 2nd batch

so if you really want a neptune refunded contact knc before just making stuff up

How long does it take Knc to process orders?
What does a processed order look like in comparison to one that is still being processed or waiting payment?

I placed an order for a Neptune today (B2) and paid through bitpay (clicking on their payment link), I have the payment info from bitpay, but on their website it's not clear what the status is of my order. LOL

Thanks

Monday, during business hours, it will/should change to "Paid"....it's totally normal...you can relax....
5x nep order here
So far I've seen

"Pending"
"Paid"
"in progress"
"Shipped"
"Closed"
"Pending Refund"
and "Cancelled"
(on previous orders)
if that helps any....

There was a glich in the automated function a month or so ago, so now those are done manually right now looks like....
congratz on the Neptune purchase btw...

You forgot one! "New" LOL

Thanks for sharing your experience. Smiley
