I can't find it in the UK or Europe And the usual 6 pin PCI-E does not fit.

I jump all my PSUs right at the modular connector. You don't have to have 10pin connector if you can just get the female crimp pins instead. Make a small lead and attach it to the proper PS_On and Gnd pins.

P.S. - I do make switch connectors that will work for this but the shipping to Europe sucks cost wise for singles.

Yes that is what you need. You just crimp a 4-5cm section of 18AWG wire and then plug it in. If you are paranoid then cover over in electrical tape. Not the prettiest thing but will work fine and is cheap.

Yep, and I forgot to mention that I am also using enablecores.bin. I downgraded all the way to 0.91 and all of a sudden all of the DC/DC modules had amperage! I then upgraded to 0.92 and I lost the original DC/DC plus another!

I remember Phoenix mention that he pressed down on his VRMs and felt a 'snap', so I tried that and two of them seemed to click as if they weren't all the way down. Upon powering up, however, there was no difference.

I went back to 0.91 and it brings back the first DC/DC that was failing, but the one that failed later is still offline. Let the wild goose chase continue!

I have one vrm that needs a finger to touch it after every reboot this last few reboots........ but be careful, dont press hard on these to snap the connection off the bottom...

Here's an interesting tidbit for you: Jumping right at the power supply works on some PSUs, however not all. It worked fine on the terrible Corsair RM850, however on the AX860 and the Seasonic 860 (same psu) it absolutely will not work, however jumping it at the end of the 24pin cable works fine. I notice there are multiple wires coming from teh PSU side that then double up on the 24Pin end, I didn't bother looking into it further or tracking the ones that needed bridging, I just deal with the ATX cable and jump it at the end.

It's not the ASIC that needs to get hot, it's the VRMs. I know this cause I used the water cooling to test it. I had no fan on the radiator, and a fan blowing on the VMRs, the temp never raised and the die never came back on. Switch to a fan cooling the radiator and no fan on the VRMs, the temp shot up and the dead die came alive.
