I am a total non-programmer so forgive the question.
If I have weight shouldn't the network have weight?
Isn't the network weight the total weight of everyone?
The only other coin I saw this in was supposed to be
POS but it was accidentally turned off in the code.
Just checking.. since I have not idea.

Does it say you're staking?

If so we should be good.

The only place I know of in the code that you can turn off POS by accident is HERE where you set the block you want POS to start at. I have it set to block 1.

I'm not positive on how it shows net weight, but I think it only updates it when someone has staked a block.

Also think about it this way, when the GE network is going on a normal day there's probably 150,000 - 600,000 weight cracking blocks. POS has a starting diff that can only go so low, and the whole network probably has very little weight total considering we are only on block 175 and you usually don't start POS on block 1..

Looks like alot are swapping going on. This is the burn address. http://cryptobe.com/address/FUJJ9WD5yMdhpHaeqgsdt4Nxw5ZTF8cxib

Did someone seriously swap 4.99 GE? lol

Yes but it was a followup swap, guess they missed the change Smiley.

how many swing will i get for 900 GE?

It's 10%.

Decimal place one to the left.

900.00 GE = 90.000 Swing

Network weight =0

Far as I know this will be 0 till someone hits a POS block. We had 0 net weight in GE for a while and it worked out fine. Creeps me out regardless though haha.  Smiley

So... no POS till block 1000?

POS activated block 1. You guys should be able to start building weight and trying to stake. Maturation time is set to 5 minutes, but you're also competing against a lot of hash power right now. I have no idea when the first POS blocks will hit.

what is the block reward?

Please see the chart in the ANN

Also

Q: How can I figure out what reward to expect?
So basically, POS rewards = 1% of the last 3 digits of the block count.
POW is the same, only there is a multiplier. It's factored by taking the number in the thousandth place and multiplying it by 10, and the result is the percentage of POS miners get.
I need to come up with a way to explain it better but the chart should help.
So for example, on block 8532:
POS reward = 5.32
POW reward = 80% of 5.32 = 4.256
The only deviation is when the thousandth place is 0. Rather than have miners earn nothing they earn 100%.
thank you for the explanation, so the reward will keeps rising for now?

Yeah till block 1,000. All the way up to 9.99 reward. After that it will be less for miners for a while till it loops back around to 100% of POS rewards.
