Masternodes are going to be launched in conjunction with Blockmarket Web Beta and Syscoin Core 2.2. The required stake amount is 100k Sys.

Is that today? I know it is today, but can someone confirm?
I heard that the test version starts today, The official version is likely to launch in Q1 2018.Maybe you can go to the previous thread and see some information.

SYSCOIN FAQ:

1. When MN?
 - Masternode release 1.0 is currently aimed to be released live mid February, 2018, Masternodes with be released for public beta in November (tstSys not real Sys) but no dates will be confirmed. When masternodes are ready to go, and we deem it appropriate to release them, THAT is the release date. You will know when it happens, and not before that.

What's even stranger is I can tell wallet is pulling blockchain as folder is growing, but cannot access or see UI lol.  Think a first for me with a wallet:-)
Dont you see the icon on your taskbar? You mean you have a custom windows install that doesnt give you the option to maximize or close?

Ya I see icon but right clicking only has "close' or "pin to task bar", fairly new install of Windows 10 but options are exactly same on all icons for running wallets.
Oh you gotta hover over it and see the little tiny window popup next to taskbar icon on there hit right click maximize

Wow, trippy...that was it lol, first time seeing that.  Interesting then this won't allow resizing of window.

All good, thanks!!

So, if I'm right the upcoming release will be a test, not a definitive release. Right? Anyway, how do you guys think about it? Will it have a crucial impact on the market?

this numbers is number active masternodes each 100 k coins ?
If less like 250 masternodes that better profits from node ?
if 250 masternodes or less roi is 60% but if 1000 masternodes or more roi is 15% in year ?
yes ?

What does the 'Operational node count' mean?

It means how many nodes are active, estimated ROI is based on the number of active nodes:
60% ROI per year @ 250 Masternodes (3 month projection).
30% ROI per year @ 500 Masternodes (6 month projection).
15% ROI per year @ 1000 Masternodes (1 year projection).
3.8% inflation year 1, block reward decay by 5% per year, reward target schedule 40 years.

projection was made by the dev team.
