I can't believe people are selling SYScoin for this cheap. 2300 Sat seems like the absolute bottom. I'm not worried at all, more cheap coins fro me.

While you are bagholding Syscoin, some people are making x2-x5 on ICO coins each week. Look at ICO of 0xProtocol. ICO price was $0.04 and today's price is $0.22.

Hello Syscoin community!

I see somebody else already beat me to the punch. But I analysed your coin and wrote what I think is a fair appraisal. I have been aware of Syscoin for a long time, and have followed events in your community for several years. The DNotes team are very impressed by what we see being achieved at Syscoin, and we view Syscoin as having very promising long-term prospects (of which our list of coins we believe that about is in the single digits). For that reason Syscoin was the first currency I wanted to write about. Thank you to Sebastien who replied to my linkedIN request for more information. Bring on Blockmarket!

Is hard to watch all this cryptocoins falling. Now is time to take a good buy positions and waiting for another back to the moon. This pattern repeat itself.

Indeed bought some now, coz is cheap. Bought some at 5000+ also... this is a coin with 1$+ value for sure, but it needs time.

SYS starts to the Moon.
BM desktop will carry it further to Mars.
BM web will send it to Jupiter  Grin

False start. We are back to Earth.

By the way, will Syscoin ever use their Lightning Network feature? As far as I know, no coin has ever used Lightning Network, there is no real LN channel. Was it just a hype feature?
We did use it. The infrastructure needs to be built by LN devlopers first. Once thats done we can easily use it. We have tested on mainnet. We were one of first people to ever do it.

But what can it do? Is there any real business benefit from it? I read there will be a possibility to create LN channels between different currencies (Litecoin, Decred, maybe Bitcoin). Is it true?
It allows for blockchain to scale at the tradeoff of minor security issues for real world usability. Atomic cross chain txs are already possible. You can trade sys for ltc trustlessly on blocknet which implements tier nolans design for ACCT. I have thoughts on a proper trust minimized LN design that will offer best of both worlds.

Syscoin is a great project.    I am an experienced C++ developer and I am impressed with your code in Github that supports Aliases, Certificates, Escrows and the Blockchain market.

I don't think the encrypted messages should be stored on the blockchain.  Yes, it is encrypted with a 256-bit ECC key but, IMO, all encryption will be broken one day and replaced with something better so it is not a good idea to leave encrypted data in a public place like a distributed blockchain.  Something like MaidSafe's Safe network where the cypher text is cut into many pieces and distributed offers much more protection.
Yes you are right there is a path fwd for messages using ecdh with ecies so message is authenticated but offchain.

I thought this was a Syscoin thread...

I'm sorry, I've been trying to leave this thread. If Sid wants to respond he can do it on another platform like hit me up on Skype. I only responded to Sid's comment and didn't expect to get trolled. But please post about Sys. I shouldn't have responded to the guy. You can delete all the comments if you want (and consider it off topic). And please forgive our community member for posting the info-graphic.
Hey man sorry just super busy I do want to discuss further and provide feedback on design decisions we took but we are having a developer.meetup this week so as you can imagine literally its eat sleep and whiteboard  for the entire week. If its not that im in code or got a hundred other things going on. The life of a CTO of a startup in crypto unfortunately takes away most if not l my time away from here, I think post bm web I will give ya a shout I have some ideas about your sidechain analysis. Good work though keep up with the grind it will pay off.

Keep up the hard work! Success does not come by it self.

Regards
