Yep, anything under 3000 sats is good entry IMHO. I wish I had a bit of spare cash to increase my SYS amount..

You can try to time the market, buy when sys is on the bottom. If you succeed, you'll have a lot more sys. If sys goes up suddenly, you'll miss the opportunity. It's up to you to decide.
Sys is a too good investment for me to gamble on market timing.
Fork might give you 10-20% based on your luck and speed, but when all that money will flow back to alts, I believe SYS will have at least 100-300%.
As always, DYOR, read a lot.

SYS is very bullish at the moment, Debitcard news is just extra. New version of blockmarket is coming next week and masternodes first week november. I believe its gonna see a new ATH.
I dont understand what the point of a masternode is. It seems like just a way to make a pyramid scheme into a sharper pyramid.
As there are a lot of coins with masternodes, it became a fashion to buy into or speculate price increase of a coin "because ... masternodes" Most of the discussion is about pump and ROI of a masternode. This is why it feels like a pyramid scheme. It's not about a coin has or has not masternodes, it's about are masternodes useful or not for that coin. In case of SYS they are of good use and a must for the network.
Masternodes are "always on" live nodes and validators of the network. Because of scalability, there is a general need to store data outside of the main chain, masternodes are the validators of this data. For the system to work properly you got to have incentives for these masternodes to exist (hence the profit they make). For keeping a masternode honest, some has to invest in it to minimize the fraud factor, so on syscoin you must have 100.000 SYS in order to launch a masternode. Not loosing that 100.000 is a big incentive to keep you honest.
