Hello, IngerDev. T-rex is a closed source miner so you cant add or upgrade anything here, you can only use it "as it is".

Tried version 7, the difference between 6.10 did not see. If anyone is interested in the Hashrate for x16r I got a 1) kfa2 gtx 1080 on average-20 mh/s 2) evga gtx 1080 ti - 27 mh / s .

Yeah, I've got pretty much the same h\rs with my 1080\Ti's, 1070's have ~16mh\s

CryptoDredge is insane, for neoscrypt. would love to see neoscrypt as algo in t-rex.

It can be insane but neoscrypt Asic is coming..
Neo is already ASIC try to add x22i algo.

No reason to afraid of ASIC. We have Skein, NIST5 and others ASIC long time, but gpu mining is still profitable.

It can be insane but neoscrypt Asic is coming..

Speed improvements: there's ~1% improvement in x16 family of algorithms on some configurations.
Add support for Volta (Titan V) and Turing (20xx) cards - not optimised yet. Download CUDA 10 version to run on 20xx cards.
New arguments:
    --temperature-limit: When a GPU reaches the temperature limit (in Celsius) the miner stops using it and keeps mining with the rest of GPUs
    --exit-on-fail-shares: Forces miner to immediately exit on N successively rejected shares (default: 10)
Command line arguments now take precedence over config files. If an argument is set in both places, the value from cmd line overrides the config one.
New HTTP API handler that allows you to control the miner via a web browser on the fly. By default is accessible at http://localhost:4067/trex. Functionality is limited but will be extended in future releases if there's demand. We're looking forward to getting your feedback.

Bug fixes:
Stability fixes, especially on x16r/s and bitcore
CUDA version reported by the miner is now the version that the miner has been built against rather than the one installed on user's machine
Redirection of console output to stdout on Windows with no buffering in place.

Cosmetic changes:
Add miner efficiency (Hashes per Watt) to console output and API
Print "Submitting found block!" message when a block is found and return this info in API

Sorry your right that's true for 1080. Makes a big difference on other cards for gpu intensive algos.


Not only cards with gddr5x, GTX1070 seem to behave the same way: I clocked down mem. to 3500Mhz and nothing changed in performance. Also tried lyra2-z\rev2 using Cryptodredge - same thing.

Make sure your card is in p state 0.

It is, but p-state only affects memory clock and since x16r is irresponsive to it I doubt running P2 will make a difference even at -500MHz in AB which will make it 4000Mhz or so. At least I tried running 5500Mhz with GTX1080 and results were the same as with 4500Mhz.

Just updated drivers from 399xx to 411.70 on my home pc (win7) and noticed perfomance drop in x16r on my 1080. On my rigs I use win10 though, but still unsure whether update drivers or not. Probably gonna have to wait for miner update that improves perfomance with cuda 10.0 drivers
I noticed the same, however the newest 416.xx driver fixes it (from my experience).

I second adding x22i ALGO
Its getting a lot of attention, yet is still under the radar to most miners, due to limited number of pools, and No Exchanges have taken it on yet.

you are right. i guess our hope is on x22i then, which has a lot of potential when we compare to the start of x16r

Using the new version 0.6.10 I got a little bit more performance, but I had to reduce the overclocking...
