Yes I agree with that England women team gave the performance they needed to win in two of the three matches in the entire series. However, India's turnaround in the second match made it seem like the series was unpredictable.  But in the third match, England's first half performance was telling the series in their hands.  And the women of England proved it with the bat, especially Sophia Dunkley's performance played a big role.  But the regret of half century miss for just one run will remain.
I wonder sometimes who do players feel when they miss their century or half century just because of one run or two.
however both team performed well - Indian team performance is improving in almost all the matches. England and Aussie are rich teams they have so much benefits as compared to the Indian and Pakistan women cricket team
It'll be hard to accept, but later they get used to it as it is part of game. Thinking of it after getting out of the crease isn't gonna make any changes. Maybe the learning could help in tackling such situation carefully in the next matches so to reach 50 or 100. There is good growth with the Indian women's team, but the board need to support it more. Same is the problem with Pakistan Women team. Proper coaching and funding and allowance needs to be provided, considering they're playing for the nation same as men playing for the country.

Irrespective of the outcome from the final match, India should be happy with the results. The series was won by England by a margin of 2-1, but India proved that they are capable of serious challenge. That said, they should introspect and analyze their weaknesses. Even under pace-friendly conditions, Indian seamers were not very effective against the England batters. Renuka Singh Thakur was in excellent form, but she was expensive in this series. On the other hand, it was the spinners such as Radha Yadav who picked up wickets.
The commitment of English girls on the field was too good to be true. Every catch was completed flawlessly whereas Indian girls were lacking the same commitment. As I said earlier the whole team is dependent on one player and that is Smriti Mandana. Ghosh was impressive but she tends to play lose shots. I am happy that women cricket has come a stage where many of us here are following these matches. I hope after WIPL starts this craze should increase significantly.

Having said that, I must say that this was quite a comprehensive win for the England women's team. In both of the matches that they were able to win this season, they were able to outplay the Indian women. However, India also showed a good performance in the second match of the series. The performance of India in that match was impressive.

Three one-day internationals are scheduled against England women in the coming weeks, and I believe that Indian women will be able to perform well in those matches. In spite of that, I do not want to watch any matches that are lopsided in any way. Basically, I just want to see some competition between the teams. The competition was not really evident from the individual matches that the England women played against the Indian women in this recent series of T20 matches.

This is the hard reality of Indian Women Cricket Team. I see New Zealand cricket board to be the best to give equal rights and support to men and women cricket team. In a country like India with such a big support for cricket, the Women cricket team didn't get its recognition. Now slowly they're getting revealed and someway things are getting better.

In India, there are a lot of cultural taboos and customs, which prevent women from participating in sports. Only in certain regions such as NE India and Haryana we can see women participating in equal numbers as men. And this is not specific to any one sport. Outside some gated societies within metro cities, India is a very conservative nation. Female participation in sports is picking up, but I don't think that it will reach a level comparable to countries such as New Zealand and Australia anytime in the next 2-3 decades.

Indian women team did not come slow this time.
Last week I watched a movie - about the Indian women captain and how despite of having limited funds she managed to pull off. They have a lot of potential and they will surly come back stronger.

New Zealand is well-developed country with good structure and well-developed in all fields of life which is surely not comparable with India, so they can afford things like these here in India we have nothing good and positive even we are reading about WIPL for many years but no positive development happening just announcements and few routine procedures for paper works are going which is never been acceptable.

If you want to compete with New Zealand then surely you have to done hard work for half century then something possible, but you can imagine this is not going to happen in country like India where life is not easy for women compare to New Zealand and their facilities and other things which are they providing for their citizens.

India already has a very bad start in this match and they are 16 for two wickets down.

Both Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana are gone cheaply making India women's team in deep trouble in this decisive T20 match. I think today's is an England day and they will win this match.
This match is going to be an easy win for England. India have 79 runs in 17 overs losing 7 wickets. Ghosh and Vastrakar on the crease. Somehow England will wrap India within 100 runs. This is an easy target for England. From the very beginning England have taken control of the match.

Well, the Indian lower order did really well to pull the score to 122 runs. Some really good batting by Richa Ghosh and Pooja Vastrakar  made Indian women team score some what fighting score. Also the Indian bowlers did well to defend it and took the match right to the 19th over. Even though Indian women team lost the match, but i will give full credit to them for trying their best.

Yes, everyone hopes they will come out stronger. They performed very poorly against New Zealand that day and they lost the match. We have noticed lately that both the Indian Cricket Board Women and Men teams are performing very poorly. No one can accept the weakness of their cricket board. But of course they should come stronger thus their performance is taking the team much worse

India needed at least 60 more runs. Their team's bowlers were not able to take quick wickets. The batsmen of the England team have shown great discretion. They won the match very calmly. India need to work more in the bowling department. Besides, the batsmen have to acquire the ability to score more runs.
The Indian woman cricket team is definitely one of the better teams in the world cricket. Already India and England played 3 matches of this series. Where India managed to win a match. In that match they performed very well losing only 2 wickets and managed to score 146 runs in 16.4 overs against a target of 142 runs. In that case, I can't consider India Women as weak team.

I have seen Asad Rauf umpiring in many matches and he was an asset, not only for Pakistan but globally recognized, however, there were corruption charges on him and he was also involved in the 2013 IPL spot fixing. He was banned from umping and these days running up a clothes shop in his native city before he died at the age of 66. What made me sad is that life is so unpredictable, and we never know when our last day in this world will be.
Life is really unpredictable, we lost many users in this forum in the past two years and the pandemic has taken your loved ones as well. This year we saw the demise of Shane Warne as well as Andrew Symonds and now Asad Rauf who was a decent umpire during his officiating times even though there are allegations against him and got suspended for 5 years but i have not seen any reports publicly regarding those fixing charges.

Finally India was able to reach 122 runs. This time it is the bottom order players that contributed to the score. The opening and the middle order failed. On the England side it had a good start, the first wicket fell at the 10th over. If there were few wicket fall at the beginning overs, the match could've gone little more closer.
England won the match easily, it was a surprising victory for India in their last match and i was expecting England to bounce back stronger and hence waged for them and the Indian batters failed this time to put a fighting total.
England women cricketers have shown great skill. They managed to win the match easily with the loss of few wickets and few more balls to go. Indian batsmen should have scored more runs but they failed to do so. Fewer runs were the main reason for India's defeat.

I beg to disagree here. Actually Pakistani fans instigated it, they started mocking and taunting Afghanistan fans. Which led to  Afghanistan fans eventually rioting and beaingt up of Pakistani fans mercilessly. I personally do not support such kind of behaviour but when you think yourself as superior in this case Pakistan then such incidents would occur. The worst part is that now Pakistani citizen think Afghanistan hates them more than India Grin.
I disagree with you. Actions speak louder than words basically which implies that Afghanistan fans were worse when compared to Pakistan fans since they probably seriously injured some people.

His struggle for livelihood has been documented in a video I watched recently; he used to run a very small shop in Lahore, the local market.
Watched him officiate several matches back in the day and he was a decent umpire despite all the controversies surrounding him. RIP!

It is not possible to win against a team like England with a target of only 123 runs. England women's team is strong enough. Even in the first match we saw that India set a target of 133 runs, and England Women reached the target with the loss of 1 wicket in just 13 overs. England's team will win today's match very easily. Had India set a target of more than 150, the match would have been competitive.
Indian batting is unpredictable, so they were not able to have good target on board as they have done in last match but still a good result for them as they are doing good against them at their home and lost this series by 2 - 1 new players are taking good experience which is going to help them in coming matches which is very important as now we are going ahead things are improving for Indian women specially in cricket.

As they settled 123 I was feeling they are going to lose this match easily but good job from Indian bowlers, and they have not allowed English women to play freely math ends in 19th over with England won by seven wickets as India won last match by eight wickets good play by both teams.

At one point I really thought that they are going to pull it off. Those 3 quick wickets really did the trick and England's batters were under pressure.

The wicket of Alice Capsey would've been icing on the cake at that time and possibly tighter contest at death overs.
