I would like to give full credit to Miller and Pandya for winning this match of Gujarat. However, the second wicket partnership was very effective. Gujarat scored 72 runs for the second wicket pair. And from the Miller-Pandya partnership, Gujarat managed to score 106 runs. Despite the poor performance of the bowlers, Gujarat has qualified for the final only because of the excellent batting of the batsmen.

It was very difficult to win by batting for 189 runs on such a pitch. But Gujarat's batsmen have made this difficult task very easy. After Wriddhiman Saha returned to the dressing room with zero runs, the performance of Shubhman Gill and Wade was good enough. After that David Miller's devastating batting made Gujarat very easy.

The match till now is very much balanced, GT are sightly ahead as they have lost just one wicket so far. GT need 118 runs on 75 balls at the moment with 8 wickets in hands. Jos Buttler and Sanju are the only who helped RR in making 188 runs, otherwise RR would have been collapsed at 120 to 140.

GT is playing so good and I think they will be able manage to win the match against RR. 49 runs are needed at this stage from 29 balls which is very much possible for GT. Pandya and Miller are on the batting and they are playing well. RR needs wicket if they want to come back in this match now.

But my guess is that Gujarat Titans have played really well when they are chasing in this IPL. They obviously don't have a perfect record chasing but they suddenly have a record that suggests they are better batting second. And the way the match is going on things really don't look very good for Rajasthan Royals. I believe Gujarat Titans will be able to win this match with a comfortable margin.

I blame Rohit Sharma for Mumbai's poor performance. The performance of an experienced player like him this season has been very disappointing.

The reason I think that they did well is because they are really determined to do well at this IPL because they are new teams, and also this could be because the other older teams did not make too many changes in their squad which in my opinion massively helped them. We did not expect these two teams to do so well but they have exceeded everyone's expectations in this IPL. And I agree that the older teams have failed mostly because of their captaincy.
