Finally some relief for MI and Rohit Sharma. Dohni played his part but there is zero support from other 10 batsmen, result is total of 97. Credit goes to Sams for getting three quick wikcets. I think players have lost energies due to lengthy schedule of IPL.
CSK should blame themselves for this fiasco. Sometime before, they had the perfect team balance. But then Suresh Raina was kicked out due to a spat with N Srinivasan and Deepak Chahar got injured. Now there are rumors that Ravindra Jadeja may not play for them after this season. Dhoni and a few other 40 plus players such as Uthappa and Rayudu are not capable of winning matches on their own. Dhoni is a very good captain, but he needs support from others as well, especially in the bowling department. It was an absolutely horrible performance from the CSK players and especially the batters because only MS Dhoni played well otherwise every single one of them just basically could not do anything much. I have to say even at this age MS Dhoni is a really great player. He still has the capability of leading a team from the front but he needs support from the rest of his team otherwise he alone cannot do anything in a cricket match.
