Currently, these both teams are facing some serious trouble in batting but still today KKR able to have good target off 166 even this was achievable but still the worst MI completely fail to give any impact with seven players out on single digit and just one player I Kishan able to reach at some reasonable score of 51 and other three out on just 12,15 and 13 is never been ideal with this defeat now most chances they will end at bottom in this season because they are surely currently the worst team in this season like we have CSK and RCB few seasons back.

Even KKR were also not good but still few players are giving some good for their team, and they have few crucial wins which are good enough for them in this season.

I agree with you. For a platform like IPL, it is very difficult to win with a target of 166 runs. But Kolkata has done this difficult task. Pat Cummins bowled brilliantly. It would not have been so easy for Kolkata to win if he had not taken 3 wickets in 1 over. Kolkata won by 52 runs for the outstanding contribution of each bowler.

It's similar story for the Mumbai Indians. Ishan Kishan made a solitary half century, and none of the other batsmen could even score above 15 runs. It's very much Ishan Kishan vs KKR. MI top 3 batsmen are gone only Ishan is holding the Fort. 83 of 46 balls need good hitting, ishan is very much settled on the crease so MI still have fair chances as long as he is there. Also Pollard is still to come. KKR are favorite at the moment but MI have 2 to 3 overs to prove that they can win.

I told them it was going to be difficult for them to win this match. And until the end they have been badly defeated in this match. It was unexpected that the team's batsmen would play so badly. It's very much Ishan Kishan vs KKR. MI top 3 batsmen are gone only Ishan is holding the Fort. 83 of 46 balls need good hitting, ishan is very much settled on the crease so MI still have fair chances as long as he is there. KKR are doing good at the moment, as they are 148/5 in 16 overs. With current scoring rate of 9, KKR will give a target of 180 runs. Which is quite a decent total and seeing the previous matches history, anything above 150 will be difficult to chase. KKR could have scored 200 runs but they lost 3 wickets in quick time.

Mumbai Indians are down bad in this life and there is no way they are going to be qualified in the next stage and that is also the same for Kolkata Knight Riders.

This match is absolutely not important in the current stage of the IPL. well, at least not important about who is going to be qualified for the next stage.

I agree and I also don't see that the bottom teams have any chances of qualifying for the next stage in the IPL. The teams that have the best chances are the top four teams.
I did not think these teams are going to be the top two in the IPL because they are relatively new teams in the IPL, So I think they have played well and exceeded a lot of people's expectations.
