After having 8 consecutive losses Mumbai Indians has won their first match today in this season. The target wasn't so big, still Mumbai had to play until the final over to get the victory. The score was 41 runs after 6 over. They made 20 runs in the 7th over. I think it was the turning point of the match.

Based on the all seasons performance, Mumbai and Chennai are the best two teams of IPL. But they are at showing worst performance in this season and staying at the last two rank. Perhaps, none of them will qualify for the next round of this season.

Well... finally they managed to win a match this season. I totally agree with you. Rajasthan Royals are an excellent team. They have won 6 out of 8 matches. And in 3 matches their collection was more than 200. And so if Mumbai's bowlers can't perform well today, the chances of winning are slim. Rajasthan Royals scored 56 runs in 8 overs. Rajasthan lost two wickets. However, Butler is still at the crease after collecting 20 runs from 23 balls.

I think Mumbai is still going to lose today because they are not in good form at all. And they are playing against a team which is showing good performance in this tournament in my opinion. I really don't think this will be the match that is going to be the first win for Mumbai Indians Wink

The two new teams are playing as if they were in the IPL from the start and full credits to their coaching staff and the team owners for picking the best team and i think both these new teams can be in the final and win the title. Royal Challengers Bangalore scored more than i expected but Gujarat Titans is too good of a team to chase down any totals.

Royal Challenge Bangalore was able to give a target of 171 runs. They have scored 26 runs in the last two overs and lost 2 wickets. It doesn't look like that 171 runs is a bad target. If the bowlers can perform well, then Bangalore has a good chance to win this match.
However, in the last match against Hyderabad, batting with a huge target of 196 runs, Gujarat Titan easily won. It is easy to assume that the batsmen of Gujarat are in very good form. And so if the bowlers of Bangalore perform like the previous matches then Gujarat will easily win today.

LOL.. looks as if Kohli will get a half century today. As of now, he's batting on 45 from 40 balls and on the other side we have Rajat Patidar who is batting on 40 right now. The partnership between these two has added 76 runs so far from 9 overs. It looks as if RCB may be able to put in a total of somewhere around 180-200. Anything less than that will be disappointing for them, as they have 9 wickets in hand. Only thing is that they need to step up the scoring rate a bit. Pradeep Sangwan and Mohammed Shami have 3 overs in between them, so it is going to be a bit difficult.
