LOL.. it is too early to talk about Kohli's retirement. He has another 4-5 years left with the national team and a few more years with RCB. The situation is different from what we had a few years back, when Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the captain of the national side and the BCCI was looking forward to replace him with Kohli. As of now, there are no good replacements for Kohli. Rohit and Rahul were given their chances, and both of them failed. The BCCI maybe looking forward to having either Shreyas or Rishabh as the captain in the long term, but these two doesn't have the experience as of now.
That may be one reason Kohli is not worried about his current form. Rohit has just taken over capacity and he need atleast a year to prove that he is fit or unfit for the job. This also proves that no matter how good a player is you need to have one or two replacement ready to avoid such situations.
Virat Kohli is surely not retiring just because of him being in a bad form. he is going to keep playing and even though a lot of people suggested him to take a break I don't think he is going to.
But in my opinion, what would be best for him is that he should play the whole IPL and see how he does. if he does well then he should keep meaning and if he does not he should certainly take a break. and I think there are a lot of replacements for him in the squad.
For this to happen someone need courage and backbone, so that they can approach former captain and inform him that he's dropped from the T-20 squad due to poor run.
May be Rohit can pass the word but he's also not performing with the bat in T-20. Anyway i'm not worried about Virat's form in T-20 but Test format. I really want him to come back in the whites with daddy 100s.
I think the youngsters that might replace Virat Kohli do have the courage to do so because we all know that young people are Fearless and that's why they can achieve great things that a lot of experienced people cannot. His being in the team at this moment with a really poor form does not make any sense at all.
