I never expected them to lose from PBKS. A big win for Punjab they reached the target in the 16th over with 8 wickets in hand. Except Sudarshan non of the GT batsmen were able to play yesterday. It is not at all easy to defend a score of 143 on a pitch where the average score is between 160 to 170. All credits for this win goes to Rabada, he got 4 important wickets in his spell.

As I predicted last night that KKR need to restrict RR to 150 in order to have a chance for victory. In IPL, 150 is very much in reach of team batting second. If you see the table then GT and LSG are in next round and 3rd and 4th position is very much open for remaining all teams less CSK and MI.

PBKS are no match for GT. GT has won 8 matches out of 9 and is ranking at the top in IPL 2022 point table. PBKS has won 4 matches out of 9 and is ranked 8th on the point table. Arshdeep Singh has been bowling quite well so I assume he will perform well today too.

Gujarat Titans are in the best form of their life and they have a perfect record of five wins in the last five matches. I really don't think they will be facing too many problems from PBKS. PBKS had a really bad match in the last match against LSG. I thought their batting was not up to the mark because they should have made a better effort trying to get to the target. I also agree that they really need to bat first and score a good amount of runs and I think they will be able to defend well.

I believe both teams are strong enough, their stats are also interesting. GT played 9 matches and won 8 and have 16 points whereas PBKS played 9 matches and won 4 and have 8 points to their side. Shikar Dhawan dependable batsman, has good leadership, and is also a great fielder, this would definitely help him yield great results in today’s match along with team effort and support.

Well.. I am happy for both Shreyas Iyer and Rinku Singh. But at the same time, I am sad that one of my favorite players in the IPL (Venkatesh Iyer) got dropped for poor form. I just hope that he doesn't end up as a one-season wonder. He's someone with very good potential. But I have seen him being under-utilized so far this season. He hardly ever got a chance to bowl, and despite the fact that he's good in depth overs, in most cases he was asked to bowl during the middle overs. Just hoping that he'll make a strong comeback.
