Feels bad for Imran Tahir. His cricketing career is almost finished and he never got a real chance to compete at international level in a regular basis. He made his debut for South Africa in his 30s and played just 20 test matches. That was a good move anyway, because if he had stayed in Pakistan then most probably he would have never got a chance to play international cricket. I consider him as one of the best spinners of his era. But unfortunately he was not able to convince this to the Pakistani selectors. At least South Africa gave him a second chance.
And this brings up a question, You've got Pakistani selectors are not being able to identify the talent of a player like Imran Tahir, isn't there any kind of problem in the selection board?
I know I am a nobody just guessing things based on facts but this is actually very true isn't it?
A man who could have had a really bright and beautiful career started his career at the age of 30 and that's absolutely shameful.
