Bangladesh is playing really well, at the start of the match the innings total of above 113 runs had good odds and i hesitated to place a bet knowing how some of the teams struggled to score runs and Bangladesh is on route to make a good total above 165 runs and i am not sure whether to put a bet on Bangladesh to win or not as i am not aware of the strengths of Sri Lanka Undecided

The match between Pakistan and India is always discussed a lot. The main reason for this is that they do not have good relations with the neighboring state and the two countries at the same time. You have only the option of losing one match and if you lose two matches, you cannot reach the knock out stages of the tournament ? I think this is not right. You can lose 2 or even three matches and still qualify based on your run rate and other factors on points table. West Indies not only lost the match but they are also lose a lot in their net run rate.

West Indies batsmen are good for short bursts. But they always fail to perform as a team. But I was expecting a better performance from the players, given the fact that many of the players had taken part in the recently concluded IPL. They had an idea about the ground/weather conditions. And there is no dearth of experience in the playing XI, with players such as Pollard, Gayle, Bravo and Russell.

The West Indies players did not do very well in the IPL, if we compare their performance with those of a few years ago. They had a very bad performance in Afghanistan in the warm-up match. Then I thought it was an unimportant match so maybe the players didn't concentrate well on the game. But now it seems that the condition of the team is really much worse. If the pitch will batting supportive, then maybe we can see a better performance from the West Indies players.

Pitch will play a major role in todays match. I think this will not be a big scoring game and therefore the team who bat first, should not be looking to hitting right from the beginning. Keeping the wickets in hand is a key to success in these matches. If the teams aim to score 200+ runs , they could end up losing the match. A score of 150-160 could be a winning score.

Yes, it's a big game for both countries as India only play Pakistan in worldcup where its mandatory. Pakistan has played good amount of cricket at uae in last 10 years while India has recently played IPL here. Both have these edge.
If we talks about odds then India has 1.4 while Pakistan has 2.6, clearly India is ahead. In T20 format its very difficult to predict the winner.
But main point is Pakistan never won against India in WC, can they do it now?

IPL experience was crucial as the players who played are performing better during the tournament and i have no idea why they left out Faf du Plessis and Imran Tahir is one of their best spinners in the shorter format and turning away from ABD even though he did not perform that well during the recent IPL, he is a player that could change the match anytime.

One thing i was impressed is the way in which Temba Bavuma captained the side defending a small total, apart from the last over he was troubling the Australian batsman with his bowling changes and field placement which was great.
