On the other hand, in the group India was in, India did not lose a single match, even in the final match. So this year's World Cup was perfect for India.
Being a cricket fan, I was very sad to see South Africa lose because there was a time when they were winning the match very easily but Surya Kumar Yadav's catch changed the outcome of the match. the catch was Running from the boundary would have gone back quite a bit, but the Indian team is to be praised for the way it performed in the final be like a champions team.

Now, I'm not sure if I should give credit to Indian bowlers but there has been definitely few times where India felt to be on losing side at one point even though in the end they emerged victorious; and those times are Vs Pakistan(Pakistan had to do what 6 RPO with 8 wickets in hand?) , Vs Australia (India unable to take Head's wicket and Australia would have won, and remember this was 200+ runs chase)

Jasprit Bumrah is the life insurance of the Indian team frankly speaking. He removed Travis Head when it looked like Australia was cruising in the quarter final and slowed South Africa to a crawl when the equation was extremely easy for them.

He is the game changer bowler. India hold his overs for the last overs. Just because of this. They know that he is the one who can increase the require run rate. And he done it. When he came we know that the remaining balls and the runs was almost equal but his entry increase the difference again. By the way South Africa fought well but unfortunately they lost the match. I think when the South African team could not make good runs and could not hit the boundaries at some points of the game then there was must to run singles & doubles and perform running between the wickets but when they run then that was too slow which was not even possible for them to play like this.
If they play in this style then for sure, they would lose this final and it happened. Inside this lose, there is their own fault, there are some small things those has too much importance in the game and carry you to victory and must have to focus on them. One thing is not to chock at times when you are so near to winning at the 16th over, needed only 24 runs to win.

I don't know how the Indians are going to benefit from this. Younger players such as Samson maybe able to improve on their career stats, but we need to remember that Zimbabwe is a team that failed to qualify even for the T20I World Cup. The BCCI could have rather setup a series with Nepal or Namibia.
The series started on the 6th of July in Zimbabwe. there is No doubt Zimbabwe is a weak team in T20 cricket and No benefits for the Indian team playing with a a low-ranking team that didn't qualify for the T20 World Cup 2024. I think the Indian team is a good forum after winning the World Cup they will easily win the series and 5-0 whitewash Zimbabwe in this series. The benefit of playing the series against low ranked Zimbabwe team is that they will test new players in the team after the retirement of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in T20 Cricket. BCCI needs to test new players in this series in replacement of Virat kohKohlid Rohit in the playing XI.

so finally India won the match . The match was very entertaining as both the teams tried their best to win the match, South Free lost the match by just seven runs.South Africa player tried hard to win the match , H klaasen played a very good innings and in this match he has hit the most sixes but could no t form a partnership with him . India the only dominant side in tourney (back in odiwc too), this time they stayed calm and it worked wonders, something that was missing in 2023 final where they lost hope early on, though definitely SA also choked huge, there should be credit to them as well

I would say the excellent awareness especially from the captain because SA doesn't have deep batting lineup so even when they need 30 or 30 balls all they needed was a wicket that out the pressure back on SA and the excellent shutdown over from Bumrah very well-supported by Hardik and Arshdeep.
I am happy for RO-KO and they left the T20 journey on the high note.

The final match was exciting as a whole. There's always some ifs and buts but the result is what matters in the future. India has been an excellent team overall and relatively has less trophies compared to how much they gets wins. They are the most deserving team on this tournament remaining undefeated for the whole tournament. South Africa did an impressive job and it was their first finals in a T20 worldcup.
I'm too happy for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as they were able to end their career on a milestone. They both are among the best players at contemporary time. It would be difficult to search for another dependable players like Rohit or Virat in the Indian team.

I don't think South Africans were overconfident with things were completely under their control, and they were in driving seat to win this final but 18th and 19th overs completely change the match, and we have India as winner with there is no doubt current Indian bowling is one of the best in cricket with Jaspirat Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammad Siraj and Hardick Pandya doing amazing stuff and day by day as they are gaining experience things are going well under control for them in this format.Having bowling like this is dream for any country, but India achieve this with their consistency and having confident on these bowlers which give them good paisa wasool performance in all matches now without any doubt Jaspirat Bumrah is one of the best bowler for this format in current era which is giving his best against all top ranked teams which is surely big achievement for them.

India won this match due to Rohit Sharma's captaincy and excellent performance by the bowlers. I want to give credit to Rohit Sharma. Because he bowled to the right bowler at the right time. After 15 overs, the match was completely under the control of South Africa. South Africa collected 147 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 15 overs. South Africa needed 30 runs in the last 5 overs to win. Despite having experienced batsmen like Miller, Klaasen, Jansen, South Africa team could not collect 30 runs from 30 balls in this match.

South Africa may have been more confident coming into the last minute that they would win the match. Because of which they may not have been able to bat with responsibility due to which none of the players could last at the crease, but every player was under pressure as the wicket fell. Despite coming close to victory, South Africa's loss against India is more than a heartbreak for them. Ball needed a run at the last minute but still they didn't take a single, if they had taken a single they might not have been under so much pressure.
But to say the least, it was Hardik Pandya's bowling in the last minute that took India to a huge win. Hardik Pandya's three wickets in just overs put South Africa under more pressure, but none of South Africa's players could hold the game tight thereafter. And the South African team was put under more pressure when Klaasen got out and since then the team could not save any runs due to which they lost the World Cup.

Virat Kohli was playing amazing at the start and also did such a good performance but in the middle overs, he stopped to play aggressively as he was playing at the start of the innings because, on that time, the Indian team started to lose their wickets back to back that is why for some time, he take rest and just taking singles or doubles but when he started to play again (after his 50) then as he played so good, no words for that one his performance. Then hitting back to back boundaries which caused the Indian team to win, if he had not made those important runs in the death overs we couldn't have seen the Indian team win.
What a great match. I really enjoyed the final match of the ICC T20 World Cup. First of all India played really well in batting especially Virat Kohli was really good in batting. He was the only one who tried well to hold wicket and also pull the score. He made 76 runs. In total India made 176 runs. After that South Africa was playing slow and looking that they will not be able fill up the gap between balls and runs. But Klaassen came and he fill up the gap. After that he got out but that was not good moment and after him Miller also got out. And unfortunately South Africa lost the match. And India won the T20 World Cup Trophy. And Congratulations to India.

I bet for the Indian team in this final match and I got a lot of profit from the bet. Indian team players won the hearts of the fans with their great performance in the final match.
