The good thing for the KKR fans is that SRH is playing against the strongest team of the tournament, Mumbai Indians. If MI play to their full extent and do not relax (as they have already qualified), it will not be easy for SRH to win. On other hand, SRH fans will be hoping the MI experiment some other new players today and this will give them some chance to get over MI.

That's right. NRR for Kolkata Knight Riders is -0.214, while that for SRH is +0.555. There is a huge gap in the run rate between both the teams. But in the end, it is the points that matter. If SRH get defeated today, then they'll end up with 12 points, which will allow KKR with 14 points to progress to the playoff stage. In that case, it will be RCB vs KKR in the first eliminator match.

Well, Jason Holder is known for power-hitting. But so far in this IPL, he has scored only 31 runs from 4 matches. That is exactly the point, MI will not put the best team because they do not need to as they are already qualified and they will be giving rest to their main players so that they will come back rejuvenated for the final two matches and possibly win the tournament. KKR will be praying that MI wins the match so that they can qualify Cheesy

. SRH always rely on Rashid Khan and if their batsman perform they can win the match.

Unfortunately, that is not the case in today's match. It has been not really exciting as DC winning this match very easily. Chasing 153, DC now just requires 16 runs in 17 balls and 6 wickets left. Dhawan and Rahane both half century has helped the team to ensure they win this match and move to 2nd rank in the table.

SRH is playing well.. and they need to make use of Mumbai's vulnerabilities. MI batting is quite strong, with Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock in top form nowadays. On top of that Pollard and Hardik Pandya are butchering the bowlers in the end overs. However, they have one vulnerability. And that is the inconsistency of their bowlers. Only Bumrah has performed in a consistent manner. Boult and Pattinson have taken the wickets, but they are not consistent.

MI are not different. They have always been the favorite team to qualify for the finals in most of the IPL tournaments and this time they looks invincible as another popular team CSK performed poor. They may change some of the players in the team for the game against SRH but that won't make it significantly different as most of the players and strategy would remain the same.

As usual, RR batting has collapsed and the burden of rescuing the team has once again fallen on the shoulders of Lord Tewatia. Oh... boy.. just while I was typing this Tewatia got out. Now it is all over for the Rajasthan Royals. Anyway, for now it is confirmed that KXIP, CSK and RR are out of the playoffs.
