So after this match, SRH will end up with 10 points. They need to win both their remaining matches, to have any realistic chance of qualifying for the playoffs. I guess they are going to win by a good margin, and that is going to help their run rate as well. Even before this match their net run rate was positive, and that gives them an advantage over teams such as KKR and KXIP.

Earlier whenever KL Rahul or Mayank Agarwal used to get out inside the first powerplay, the KXIP middle order used to collapse. Maxwell and other batsmen were unable to dig in and rescue the team. Delhi started really well but now we are seeing some problems as Prithvi Shaw was dropped because of his form but they have a solid bowling line up and if they can put a good total they have the bowlers to defend the total. For RCB Kohli is not in great touch even though he is scoring runs, if not for ABD they would have lost some of the matches.Today's match SRH needs to win the match if they want to be in the contention and if they lost there is no way they would qualify but still i go with Delhi to win the match considering the batting issues of SRH.

After losing 7 wickets for 24 runs in that collapse against KXIP, Sunrisers should probably just let DC take the win points. If Shaw strikes a bit of form and Pant contributes to the run-rate the way he does, then this could well be my first winning pick in this round on the Pool. We had too many upsets and strong teams such as DC and MI suffered thrashing defeats. But none of those defeats were more shocking than the one SRH suffered at the hands of KXIP. Chasing 127 to win, they lost the match when their middle and lower order collapsed. Mumbai Indians' defeat against RR was also difficult to fathom. After making a total of 195 at Abu Dhabi, they went on to lose the match.

You are absolutely correct mate, 160 is not perfect score for Sarjah. But KKR's bowling lineup is good. So that I thought it is hard for KXIP to chase this score. But they won the match very easily.
I was just amazed to see KXIP's matches. They were the bottom team of the points table. Now they have come up very well. They have won 5 games in a row. Their next 2 opponents are RR and CSK. Hopefully KXIP will be able to win against them very well. And will ensure the chance to play the playoff.

The reason KXIP was not winning in the first seven matches was because Chris Gayle was sitting in the stands and once he is back in the team they won five matches in a row and this is the best back come for any team in this tournament. I am confused with the team selection of KKR as they picked Nagarkoti but he did not bowl a single ball and if that is the plan then they should have included a batsman. In Ideal situation this should be an easy match for KXIP to win it and considering their last few matches. Shubman Gill is the only established batsman in the crease as they already lost their fifth wicket, good to see that KKR started counter attacking when they lost their third wicket and that is how Morgan plays and looking at the match situation it is highly likely that Punjab will carry on their winning momentum and this win would take them to the fourth spot.
