I doubt Pakistan has any chance here, the target is pretty low and Australia will have no hard time to chase this. They need 92 run from 75 balls, Finch is on fire.

Do not under estimate Pakistan because rain has started again for our rescue  Smiley
I wish the rain does not stop now so that we cannot lose the first T20 or even it it stop, the target becomes more stiffer for Australia.

I am not sure if this rain and the reduced overs will favor Pakistan or Australia. At the moment 119 runs target in 15 overs look very achievable for Australia.  Pakistani chances are only dependent on how good they bowl and field to defend this score.
The interruption in a match will have an impact on the match, if Pakistan knew that the match will be played only 15 overs they would have scored at a far better run rate and this is not a fair way for a team. Australia could win the match easily and it all depends upon how Pakistan bowlers could put pressure on the Australian top order but the way in which Aron Finch is batting they will reach the target easily.

What do you guys think?
It's pretty easy calculation. Although India is playing with a lot new players, they still have the strong batting line up and they can beat Bangladesh easily. Bangladesh will play with no #SHAKIB, I will be missing him. He is the only player in Bangladesh who could have a good standing against India.

Ah so Kiwis won the 2nd T-20
Didn't watch Pakistan batting, they did okay i suppose? Babar Azam proved one more time why he's gem. now time for bowler to their thingy.

We got another match today Men vs Wild/Air Pollution  Grin India vs Bangladesh.
Air pollution is the party popper. BCCI should not organise any match in Delhi during Winter, Period.

Edit : Jeez Finch spanking the Pak bowlers.

Are you talking about these cricket stadium ? There are not many of these in the world yet.

Docklands Stadium, also known by naming rights sponsorship as Marvel Stadium, is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment stadium in the Docklands area of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia and Yorkshire's Headingley ground too have retractable roofing system

Hmm... yes... it was the Docklands Stadium where the Australia vs South Africa match was played in 2000. I checked Wikipedia and found that the cost of construction was A$460 million (USD 318 million). And that too was almost two decades back. Even for the BCCI, I am afraid that such amount may be unaffordable. But it will be good to have one in India.

Thanks to Neesham, NZ was able to reach a score of 176..
It was a good game of cricket as New Zealand bowled really well to expose the batting line up of England and level the series, Southee and Santner bowled well and picked up wickets in quick succession and Neesham was the star to take NZ to a good total and they played well as a team to win the match.

Still atleast they have their captain at crease and seems like he has settled down. Azam can score some good amount of runs but problem lies if the batsman on other end will be able to stick with him.

Rain has hit the game. Hopefully we don't see some overs being cut-off from the match. Destroys the beauty of a T-20 game :/
Pakistan was batting really well before the rain delay, the match is reduced to 15 over a side and it will destroy the beauty of the game, if Pakistan can put a good total on the board Pakistan has the bowlers to trouble the Australian line up and with rain it will be tough for the batsman to score boundaries easily.

Today India will be playing against Bangladesh.

The prediction is that India has 84% percent chance of winning this match because of it strong batting line up and the record all win in T20 format against Bangladesh.

Rain has hit the game. Hopefully we don't see some overs being cut-off from the match. Destroys the beauty of a T-20 game :/

Long back, I remember some of the Australia vs South Africa ODI matches being played in stadiums with retractable roof. I can't recall the exact venue, but I guess it was either Melbourne or Sydney. If they have such facilities, then why can't they make use of it? The BCCI should also consider this option as the climate change has made it very difficult to schedule the matches. Recently, a large number of matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy were abandoned as a result of rain. The BCCI is a cash rich body, and they can build such stadiums if they want.

-snip-

Yeah Malan really played slow while their explosive batsman like Bairstow and Morgan were out early otherwise it would have been a close match or a win for England.

Thanks to Neesham, NZ was able to reach a score of 176..

Pakistan started the match with worst possible start and lose 2 early wickets. However Rizwan has started playing some positive cricket and lets see if he can continue with Babar. This partnership is important from Pakistan point of view.  Earlier Fakhar Zaman and Haris were unable to face the fast bowling attack by the Australians and got out cheaply.

Oh sorry yeah Pakistan are batting. My bad -_-

NZ this time game England a good target of 177 and NZ bowlers got an early break striking two wickets of England in early phase of game. Also explosive batsman Eoin Morgan is out now. Billings and Malan is on crease. Haven't seen Malan playing T-20 but Billings is capable of delivering a good innings.

NewZealand  played much better today and got a deserving win at Wellington. JDS Neesham made 42 runs in just 22 balls which made the difference in the End. Also England has inexperienced lineup today and NewZealand took full advantage of that.
With this the series is leveled by 1-1 making the 3rd T20 to be the decisive one.

With the bounce back of NZ in second match this has make the 3rd decisive match more interesting for every one for players and also for the entire audience to watch and for the betting people as well because now the rates would change and NZ might be more better than Pakistan.

Very irritating to watch the first T20 match between Pakistan and Australia getting delayed as a result of rain. Pakistan is off to a good start, and they made 88/3 in 12.4 overs before rain stopped play. As usual, the Pakistan top order batted really well, with Babar Azam batting at 43. Mohammad Rizwan made 31 and the partnership between Azam and Rizwan took the Pakistanis to a good score.

The latest news is that the rain has got very heavy and there is little chance of a resumption.

Also in other match - Aus vs Pak, Aus have selected to bat. A good chance to see Pak's bowling early.

Morgan was the one who was scoring and he is out now. I don't know what Malan is thinking, but he was scoring really slow initially when the required run rate is close to 9 runs per over. They need to score at a healthy pace, else the rate can climb to above 10 runs and it may get out of their hands. Now Malan has stepped up, by hitting a few sixes. There is a lot of batting yet to come, so I don't know what they are being so cautious. James Neesham and Mitchell Santner have got 4 overs remaining between them (Neesham has gone for a few by the way), and if the English batsmen want to win this match, then they need to score against the weaker bowlers such as Daryl Mitchell.

Netherlands is looking to win this final. They have wickets in hands and they need only around 40 runs in last five overs. I have followed most of the matches in this qualifier series but very few of them are being close contested. The final is looking to the interesting as anticipated and I vote for Dutch to win it.  Smiley

The tournament is over and the Netherlands are the champions. They were the most deserving team out there, and they won. For those who followed this tournament, there were a fair share of close matches. A total of 14 teams from all the continents contested this tournament, and there was a lot of diversity ranging from Papua New Guinea to Jersey.

Now the long wait begins for the 2020 T20 World Cup, which is 12 months away. For the teams who managed to qualify (Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Ireland, Namibia, Scotland and Oman), it gives enough time to take out some preparatory tours to Australia and get used to the conditions. I personally wanted Nepal to qualify, but they couldn't even make it to the qualifiers.

Meanwhile Pakistan Women cricket team has beaten all three T20 matches in Lahore against Bangladesh and also looking to white wash them in ODIs too.
They are a better side then Pakistan Men squad and i wish they could go to Australia  instead of the Men cricket team to give some tough time to Aussies  Wink
Have you seen any matches of Australian women's and they are the best team in women's cricket right now and if you think that the Pakistan women's team can challenge the Australian team then you are wrong, i have seen many encounters in the past and i am yet to see them defeat Australia as they have a really good team and dominate most of the team in world cricket Wink.

So tomo we will have the 1st T20 match of India vs Bangladesh series. Though with Shakib Hasan being out for a year now things may not be that same for the team and find it difficult to cope up with India. But hopefully some good match could be witnessed.
There are some chances for match to be called off due to polluted air conditions; Always those schedulers for cricket matches go crazy. They choose England for world cup for its early summer which enforced lots of matched got abandoned. Now it is festival time in India and one of a Delhi match had experienced some play-offs due to breathing problems to players still a match is scheduled in a same venue around the festivals.

I guess out of Ind vs Ban, India must be the favorites still it is going to be a T20I clash and it could be anyone's day. I will bet on India as I do risk on favorites always.
