I think that Afghanistan had more chances of winning the match if we had the actual match. In some way rain is good for Bangladesh that they share the cup.

How do you think that it was good for Bangladesh? We have lost one match so far in this series, Afghan lost 2 matches. Afghan had the chance to win, but you know it's not more than Bangladesh.

Not so difficult to think that Afghanistan was favorite.
See the couple of odds stated above and both favors towards Afghanistan win.

No bro, both team have more or less similar strength and weakness. but guess right now rain is winning the moment. toss delayed....
@JSRAW Bangladesh plays very well but I find success much less Not once or twice has it happened many times.

Afghanistan is no different. They have capability to shock any good teams out there with their bowling and batting. Things are just getting started for Afghanistan. They might not win the whole series but beating Bangladesh is something memorable they are picking up from this tour.

Bangladesh is struggling in the batting sector is what I think. They are only one or two regular faces who scores for them. Rest doesn't makes any impact in the game.

Earlier you told that you will miss the match because you were unable to get the tickets.
I had convinced my cousin to get into the line today morning, he has managed ticket for me.

My tickets probably have been trashed. Bored waiting in the ground, it's easy to wait outside the stadium but here, it's too much boring. Still it's raining as the same as it was at the beginning. I don't see any chance.

Did you again went on the 2nd day to stand in a line to get the tickets ? Shocked

I had waited 6 hours in the line, 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Bad luck here that I couldn't buy. Ticket counter has been closed and will start again tomorrow. Probably I will miss this match, I will not be able to go again tomorrow.
Price is low, minimum $3 to max $80. I was trying to get grand stand, place near where BAN players will sit. Ended with no stand at the end.

It was a very sad end to such an exciting series. Since there was no reserve day the trophy was shared between both the finalists. Countries such as England and Bangladesh seriously needs to think about playing international matches in stadiums with retractable roof. Too many matches have been washed out and revenues lost as a result of rain.  Angry

Is there any reserve day for final?
I don't think so, even if it has, how will they allow us to enter stadium, our ticket has been taken(can't remember the exact word at the moment, separate? cut?) lol. How will we watch the match?
Still no improvement here, chance is it will be raining here for a long time. It's looking like snow fall, by the way.

I was looking forward to enjoy a good final on TV but the rain shattered our dreams.

80% chance to Afghanistan? Aren't you overestimating the chances of the Afghans? As per the ICC T20 rankings, Afghanistan is currently ranked 7th and Bangladesh is behind at the 10th position. But I wouldn't give them probability of winning as high as 80%. As we saw during the last match, the momentum is with Bangladesh, and on top of that they have the home advantage and many decades of experience. Afghanistan doesn't have the ability to perform at crucial situations and they tend to lose tight matches due to their inability to perform under pressure. I would rank Rashid Khan above Shakib al Hassan. But that said, Shakib is a far better player under pressure situations.

Bangladesh vs Afghanistan T20 final. Obviously Bangladesh is favorite and with that unfortunate Afghanistan have doubt about playing Rashid because of the injury in the last match.

I predict Bangladesh will win the series. Shakib will need to perform to make their job easier.

Both teams look worthy to me and after the last game, there is not much difference between them. I am expecting a close encounter in this match as both teams are not going to back down without any fight and I am sure no one wants to see that.

If Rashid is 100% fit and playing, then again giving Afghanistan extra edge despite Shakib back in his usual business, otherwise this Trophy belongs to Bangladesh.

The T20 series is over now... what's left is the ODI series and the three test matches. I don't think that the selectors will think about too much experimentation, either during the ODIs or for the tests. They should be fielding the full strength side.

Is there ODI matches in this series? I remember the South African tour to be 3 T20 and 3 Test series. I don't think there is an ODI match in between them. Or are referring to any other series.

Edit: Just checked. India don't have a ODI match until Dec 15 with West Indies. In between India has a Bangladesh tour which is also T20, test series.

Yes, 3 match ODI series between South Africa and India is scheduled in March 2020. Right now there is no ODI in this tour.

Always I used state India is completely depending upon Kohli. Last match he performed and India won the match. This time the starting missed, and the middle order too didn't performed well. This is not the first time, and this too is a result of over confidence from the Indian cricket team.

India as a unit is a balanced side but the problem I find is that middle order their is no fixed order and still not able to figure out the right combination as top order is sorted but majorly in middle overs when middle order bats they need to fire and ensure they keep the score at the good rate and keep wickets intact . With Dhoni absence it might take some time now to get that position filled .

I agree. They have quite a pool of players who can play out in middle but right now team management is focusing on young players rather than experienced who are getting old. It will take time to find someone young who fits and can be a consistent in T-20 format.

I don't know much about India experimenting with their bowlers but when bowlers and batsmen fail so miserably, everyone should be blamed. It's OK if they try to choose these youngsters for T20 matches but hope they continue with experienced batsmen in the test ones. Disappointed with Rohit's performance especially as he had enough time to rest but performed badly. Sundar, Chahar, Saini all couldn't take a single wicket and bowled at the economy rate of 6+ with Saini bowling at 12.5 which is itself shows how bad they were. Both the teams failed in the last match. Chasing down 134 runs so easily proves it.

It is true that the Indian batsmen failed to put enough runs on the board and this in turn put the bowlers in to a lot of pressure. But the inexperienced bowlers also failed to live up to their mark. For many of them, it was a rare chance to impress the selectors ahead of the selection for the 2020 T20 World cup, but there wasn't any extraordinary performance from any of them.

On top of all this, Virat Kohli earned 3 demerit points after he behaved aggressively to South African bowler Beuran Hendricks. The T20 series is over now... what's left is the ODI series and the three test matches. India does not have a good bench strength for batsman but they have world class bowlers and they are giving them ample rest to avoid any injuries during major tournaments and the intention to groom young talents but what i did not understand is that they should have kept one experienced fast bowler in the team rather than giving them rest at once. India is good at chasing because of Kohli and if they won the toss they must put the opposition to bat and then chase the score rather than trying to restrict the opposition with a weak bowling line up.
