South Africa restricted India to just 134, which is 4 runs less than Afghanistan scored yesterday against Bangladesh. It was surprising to see the overhyped Indian batsmen struggling against inexperienced bowlers such as Bjorn Fortuin and Beuran Hendricks. It should be easy for the South African batsmen, as India don't have their first choice bowlers such as Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami in the playing XI.

Series is about to draw folks?

SA : 80%  - India : 20%
106 runs and still 22 balls to play. Let's finish the innings first.

BTW, now I don't think they would reach 150 in the remaining 5 overs if Pandhya or Jadega lose their wicket. Is Washington sunder an all-rounder? I completely missed previous year so really don't know about him.
140ish is my new predicted score. I guess he (sundar) is.

Edit:
Outstanding performance by South Africa. They restricted India by only 134 runs. Now they can wish for a win. Good luck.

India lost their 5th wicket and quite in pressure now. I expect around 150 runs after the 20 overs.

Edit: And another gone. Caught behind. South Africa is cruising now.

Anyone bet on South Africa?
It's a good chance to cash out the bet :-P

Nah I don't bet on T20s games because it's nearly unpredictable 1 over can make a big difference in the game. I only do ODIs and Tests were the chances of winning the bet is better  Smiley

Quote from: Kohli
“I know it’s a chasing ground, that’s what teams do here in the IPL (Indian Premier League) too, but heading into the World Cup we want to strengthen areas and put ourselves under pressure”

India 92/5. Looks like the pressure is winning  Tongue
Now it's all in the hands of the Pandhyas and the tail enders.
Anyone bet on South Africa?

I think India has a great chance of winning the T-20 world cup. Will wait for the see actual result. Smiley

Next T20 world cup is very far away and will be played in Australia in 2020. There is still one year left in that series. It is very early to predict who will be the winner of that world cup as it is not easy for the Asian teams to perform well on Australian pitches.
You are right many changes can happen in one year and Australia is not easy place for Asian teams and right now England New Zealand and Australia all are emerging teams for next world cup so its going to be very tough for any team and any tipster to predict who is going to win next world cup in Australia.

About 3 and half hours left to start India vs South Africa 's 3rd T20 match. Where India will fight by their best team with South Africa. What do you think about the match? Can South Africa defeat India?

Keep in mind that Previously 1st match was abandoned without a ball bowled and the second match won India  by 7 wickets.

Current Indian team is very strong and the South Africa does not match their class. You will be lucky if you can see a close match between the two teams.
I am looking for another one sided match today with an easy Indian win.

The broken South Africa team can not give any competition to India. I already gave my prediction in the last post. India will win this match with good margin of either wickets or runs.

I will be cheering for India.

Just found out that Shakib saved them once again which is not surprising considering how bad their team has been these days. Once Shakib retires, Bangladesh will be in a horrible position unless they get their act together.
Bangladesh needs to find a way to perform when Shakib do not do well. They are heavily depending on Shakib. Anyway, It was a good warm up match before the final. Let's see who learnt better from this match and use it to win the final.

India vs South Africa 3rd T20 today. Obviously India is favorite and should have an easy win. I will be watching the live match.

There is no doubt that Shakib Al Hasan is a special player who will get selected in any team around the world but what the selectors have to do right now is to groom young talents and they have start from the root level and built a team and if they are not doing that then it will be a big problem when their star players retire. Most of the top countries are grooming young players and hence we see talents even when the old super stars retire, Kohli, Smith, Root are prime examples as they played under top talents and got the experience and now top players themselves.

Bangladesh needs to perform as team. They are heavily depending on Shakib which is not good. Not every day he can save them and perform. Anyway, it was a good win for Bangladesh which should boost some of their confidence for the final.

@RapTarX @Haunebu haha guys don't get mad at me. Neither am I comparing Pant and Dhoni nor am I trying to replace Dhoni with Pant atleast not not until he retires. But we have to face the fact that Dhoni is nearing his retirement and we have fill his spot. And I think Pant has better chances of filling the it if he isn't reckless
Lol. No one is mad at you. We were talking about the ideal replacement for MSD which is inevitable and I feel like India might have to look at other players to take up his spot since Pant is not exactly performing these days.

The 7th wicket partnership between Shakib Al Hasan and Mosaddek Hossain rescued Bangladesh. Afghanistan was so close to victory, but as usual they let off the pressure at a crucial situation. The turning point was the 18th over, in which Rashid Khan conceded 18 runs. That changed the course if the match, as before the start of that over Bangladesh needed 27 runs from 3 overs.

If you closely analysis the match, it is Afghanistan who dominated in batting and bowling first and then lost their way.
They started well with the bat but did not bat the last 10 overs well and resulted in giving a small total to the Bangladesh. Again the Afghanistan bowled well in the beginning but could not break the middle lower order batsmen partnerships and hence lost the match.

Afghanistan has this habit of throwing away the advantage. While batting, they had built such a good partnership (between Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Hazratullah Zazai), but once these two got out, their batting collapsed completely. During the second innings also, they were in such a strong position, until Rashid Khan conceded 18 runs of the 18th over.

Bangladesh will have home advantage when they will play the final on 24 of this month. At the same time they will be more under pressure because they cannot afford to lose the final in front of home crowd.
Regarding Shakib, he is playing well for the team but how often do we see that the best in-form player of the team fails in the last most important match. Bangladesh has to come up with a plan if Shakib fails.
