Even then this was not a big score for the t20 format but I think there was little chance to win for Central Districts because if we see their previous matches their performance wasn't good enough. So if Wellington can do their good performance on bowling format I think they can easily win this match.

I didn't watch the game, so I don't know if the pitch behaved differently from first inning to second, but mostly likely it played the same in my assumption. And as we speak the Pakistan lost the match because of their bowling and I don't know the reason why Pakistan failed to produce a good spinner in the last few years even though they have domestic league for this particular format which is the X factor and that needs to be addressed for the better of Pakistan bowling attack in future.

In the 1st T20I Match between New Zealand vs Pakistan, NZ won by 46 runs. I must say, both team played excellently. Bats line was perfect for NZ. As Pakistan won the toss, they opted to field. So NZ had to bat first and they focused on score. And thats why they tried best for made more runs from limited bowls. Daryl Mitchell did 61 from 27 bowls, which is around 225 SR. Abbas & Shaheen Afridi got 3 wickets each. And then Pakistan batting start up was excellent enough. Saim Ayub gave best effort as well as babar azam did his 57 run. But run rate was low. Mainly Pakistan unable to collect more run in last overs.. And due to pressure, 10 wickets gone with 180 score even 2 overs stll left for them. And so Nz won

New Zealand made a total of 226/8, in a pitch that provided almost equal opportunity for both the batsmen and the bowlers. And Pakistan's fate was decided then itself. In international matches, if the score is above 200, it becomes difficult to win the match. And there 226 runs by New Zealand is definitely a big score which Pakistan could not chase down. But they played well enough because even 180 runs are difficult to score in T20 matches. They did not perform as per the bowling I expected from the Pakistan team. Finn Allen, Chapman and Daryl Mitchell all batted at a strike rate of 225 which enabled New Zealand to set a big target. Pakistan started with a loss in the 5-match T20 series but they will surely try to bounce back in the second match of this series.
