Pakistan team played very well but couldn't win this match because of their poor fielding. Babar Azam dropped a catch which was the main catch of Kane Williamson, and not only Babar Azam, the other players also dropped catches and total Pakistan dropped three catches in this innings, and the catch that Babar dropped was the catch of Kane Williamson and the ball that was given by Abbas Afridi, although Abbas Afridi also took many wickets.

Oh no! Pakistan played well, but the poor fielding prevented them from winning the match. Dropping three catches is definitely a setback. Babar Azam's drop of Kane Williamson's catch seems the most vital player. Despite Abbas Afridi's wickets, it must be disappointing.

Pakistan batsman and bowler could not worked hard and struggle.Mostly these bowlers did not work hard and struggled and gave away runs. Pakistan would have won today's match if their bowlers could have controlled the New Zealand batsmen with hard work and struggle and set a target of 190. But Pakistan's bowlers did not perform well today and are on the verge of losing the match. Need 46 runs in 2 overs which is very difficult for Pakistan. A few positives for Pakistan, but in the end they lost the match. Abbas Afridi in his debut match was exceptional and returned figures of 4-0-34-3. However Aamer Jamal and Usama Mir failed this time. Pakistan going with their new generation players but mostly are not well-prepared for this stage which is big setback for them and team as well with Aamer Jamal selected just because of his performance in test matches which he plays in Australia, so Kiwis use good use of his poor bowling and have the good number of runs.
Abbas Afridi is new young bowler who is nephew of former fast bowler Umer Gul he has done good job, but they need to keep things on better level and give better assistant as well if they want best from him in first game New Zealand completely outclass Pakistan and have very good win with this look like most chances they will dominate in this series.

Pakistan are under a lot of pressure as Azam Khan and Shahen Shah Afridi were dismissed consecutively, especially Adam Milne's loss of two wickets in the fourth and last over, Pakistan's chances of victory are diminishing. Pakistan expected a good innings from Fakhar Zaman in today's match but Fakhar Zaman failed to deliver a good innings. Moreover, after Babar Azam's dismissal, there is no chance of Pakistan winning.

Pakistan got off to a great start with a target of 227 runs to bat. But in the end there was an unfortunate runout. Saim Ayub (27) started right where Pakistan needed hard hitter batting. But Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam are now on the wicket and both of them have to form a big partnership. If an attacking partnership can be made then Pakistan definitely has a chance to win. However, 227 runs is not a difficult target on a batting friendly pitch and a venue with relatively small boundaries. If Pakistan can bat right from the start with the run rate and build a big partnership then Pakistan will definitely have a chance to win.
