Good catch up from Indian team after losing both openers early.

New players like Jaiswal, Jitesh Sharma failed, free life to Tilak Verma as well.

Rinku seems to be cementing his place in Indian team. I liked how he took his runs behind the wicket without necessarily using his strength every time.

Even tho, breetzke was annoyed at his run out, it was his mistake as he didn't heed the no call.

It was good game overall, I enjoyed watching.

Yes England team is going through bad situation at present. We have seen England fail in their World Cup mission. Lost the ODI series against West Indies 2-1. Again, England lost the first match of the T20 series and fell behind. England lost the toss and had to bat, England's top order batsmen performed well. England's finishing was not good, England could have scored 190 plus runs if they had done well in finishing. In the end, England were all out for 171 runs. Had England been able to set a target of 190 plus runs, the game would have been much more competitive. The game would have gone in England's favor if England's bowlers Russell and Rovman Powell had dismissed these two devastating batsmen quickly. However, West Indies' top order batsmen played well and the finishing was very good as a result of which West Indies won by 4 wickets in 18.1 overs. Especially Andre Russell has done very well both batting and bowling.

England should have given more than 200 targets in today's match. But due to the bad batting of the lower order, England has given a target of only 172 runs. After the ODI series defeat, England lost the first T20I match as well. Their current condition is very bad. England batted very aggressively at the start of today's match. I thought over 200 they could easily provide the target. England's collection was 77 runs in the first 6 overs. And at the end of 10 overs they managed to collect 112 runs. Exactly the start of the Indian wasn't good. Yashasvi Jaiswal Out on 0 run and Shubman Gill out on the 6 runs but he made also 0 runs. Mean India lost two wickets on 6 runs. After that Suryakumar Yadav the captain played his role and made 58 runs. Rinku Singh was great who made 68 runs and remained not out in the match. By the India gave a good target and if they played the last 3 balls so I think they could go above 190 runs.
By the the rain was interested in this match. And South Africa also played well and they have the shrinked target of 154 runs. And they chased that target easily Congratulations to South Africa.

India perhaps lost because of Temba Bavuma's absence. He's like the lucky charm for India. If he was there, then obviously India would have won, as he wastes a lot of balls. BTW, I don't understand the reason why Indian selectors are persisting with Arshdeep Singh, despite repeated poor performances with the ball recently.
