In Khulna Tigers team i know two players who are recognized to cricket world, one is Tamim Iqbal and the other is Shai Hope. 210 runs by these two batsmen in the 32nd match was a big achievement for Khulna Tigers. In that match Tamim socred 95 and Shai Hope scored 91 runs. The rest of the players had no role of that particular match.
For better viewership ILT20 needs to work on their schedule because with current timetable they can't take things which are needed by them currently we have Big Bash League at the end and then Bangladesh Premier League is also in progress third league SA20 League with this all big mess up happening and no league is having good and ideal viewership which is going to hurt the sponsors badly hopefully things could be better, and we will be able to have better calendar for this all in near future.

There are simply too many leagues around and if you add in the ICC tournaments, there is hardly any free slot available in the calendar. ILT20 is termed as the second most expensive league in the world (after the IPL), but from what I can see it has failed to attract much enthusiasm outside the GCC nations. India is playing a series against New Zealand at this point, and that has impacted the viewership of the franchise leagues in a big way. Some of the IPL franchises and ZeeTV (broadcaster) invested in this league quite heavily and I don't know how they are going to get a return for their investments.

Anyone following the International League T20 in Abu Dhabi? Yesterday Abu Dhabi Knight Riders lost to Dubai Capital by a big margin. A number of top international players are participating in this league and I am surprised that the viewership has remained relatively low in India. The ongoing bilateral series against New Zealand seems to have impacted the TRP ratings. But now BPL needs to compete with other franchise leagues such as BBL, SA20 and ILT20 for global audience, since the December-January time window is pretty much jampacked. I would say this was the most exciting and enjoyable match of BPL. Even after giving a huge target of 211 runs to the Khulna team, they will be defeated. After giving such a huge target, everyone assumed that Khulna would win the match very easily. But Comilla proved everyone wrong and easily won the match. Johnson Charles and Rizwan's brilliant batting gave Comilla an easy win. The performance of the Khulna bowlers was very poor. Every bowler in the team except Nasum Ahmed gave a lot of runs.
Just noticed that the ICC hasn't increased the number of teams for the Women's T20 World Cup. I checked the format for both the 2024 and 2026 editions, and found that there are only 10 participants. And out of that, only 2 teams can progress from the qualifier tournaments. This is really pathetic. On one hand, the ICC claims that they want to expand cricket using T20 format, and still restricts the tournament to a handful of nations. We recently had the women's U-19 world cup, and many of the associate nations performed really well there (especially Rwanda and Indonesia). It would be very disappointing if the 2023 tournament turns out to be the last foray in to ICC tournaments for most of these players.

If ICC wants to make DRS mandatory, then they need to foot the bill. There are boards such as Ireland who were forced to cancel bilateral tours due to the lack of funds. Given this, it may not be the right thing to do if the national boards need to bear the burden of DRS. Anyway, they (ICC) are awash with money after the media rights deal with Star-Disney. Rather than stealing money in the name of "administrative costs" the ICC officials can spend a part of it wisely by using a part of it for the DRS. BTW, I am not hearing much about the ongoing media rights auction. After the sub-continent auction, ICC seems to have gone completely silent over it.
DRS is costly tech so not financially sustainable as these sorts of series hardly generate any revenue. Only Women's WC (Senior) uses DRS tech.
I understand it is costly but why such discrimination? I did not enjoy the match for the first reason it was unfair on both the team's part and second it got dominated by India as soon as the captain of WI got out. If you want women's T20 cricket to be engaging as well as entertaining you need to bring it to par with men's T20 cricket.
But at the same time, you have to be practical. A large part of Women's cricket is based on a subsidy model and most of the cricket boards (except BIG-3) can't afford to add additional costs to their bills.
