Pakistan lost the series by 2-1 after defeating Afghanistan by 66 runs in Pakistan's third and final Twenty20 match against Afghanistan yesterday. Although Pakistan lost the series, this series gave Pakistan a consolation record. Yesterday, Shadab Khan took his 100th T20I wicket in his individual career.
Shadab Khan took Ibrahim Zadran's 99th wicket, surpassing Shahid Afridi's record of 98. Shadab Khan came in the 12th over to record the 100th wicket in his T20 career by taking the wicket of Osman Ghani. So far Shadab Khan is the highest wicket taker for Pakistan in T20 cricket in his individual career. But yesterday Shadab Khan took the wicket of Muzeeb Rahman to take his 101st T20I wicket in his individual career.

each year we predict this might be his last but each year he comes stronger and more fit. Age is a concern but I think he will be able to cope with it a few more years. I am not expecting anything big from him but the hype being created by CSK is overwhelming for fans.

@pakhittheboss each year we say it’s probably his last season, and each season he comes out and says I’ll be back so I can understand why the fan’s are excited about him. Also if he can use this transformation to smash the bowlers around the park I guess no one will really complain, but we all should be realistic too that at his age there’s not much he can do so I wouldn’t saddle him with unnecessary expectations too.

The target was always difficult for the Ireland to chase. Bangladesh scored 207 runs in their 20 overs. Litton Das, Rony Talukdar, Shamim and everyone else contributed for Bangladesh to make this big score.
The second match between these two teams will be played tomorrow at Chattogram and i hope the rain does not affect that match and we see a full 20 overs game.

The reality is completely upside down, they perform well for the franchise and they weren't able to perform good for the nation. They should've leveled the series and even if they've lost the third T20 this could've never been this bad.

Well, the PSL has nothing to do with the performance of the Pakistan cricket team against Afghanistan. The reason is that the big players who played in PSL have been rested in this series and that is the major cause of this poor performance from them. They wanted to test all the new players at once and caused the series loss to them.

Anyway Pakistan did win the 3rd and the last T20 match, but the series had been lost already.

Pakistan have played well and scored 182 runs which is a good target and Afghanistan won't reach the target. Pakistan made a good comeback, but it is too late. Afghanistan have scored 71/5 in 11 overs and need another 111 runs which isn't possible from Afghanistan. Anyhow rhe series is already won by Afghanistan. This series will be a big learning for Pakistan to make it better in the upcoming matches.
