Australia and the cricketing world should remember that it wasn't some useless ICC event like the WTC finals or the ODI World Cup final.

It was the prestigious Paytm series and it's a pinnacle of the game of cricket. Hence the inspiring effort from The ICT team against the 2nd string opponents because they always bring their best in high-pressure and tough encounters.

Congrats team India!  Undecided Cry

That's quite some insult. Wink

Yeah, I understand that, but let's move on from that defeat and now focus on the T20 WC. As I said, India need to look out their bowling strategy a lot, especially grooming part-time bowlers.

Even in this series Jaiswal and Tilak Varma could have been tested with few overs, but they didn't do that is what become questionable and stuck with only bowling options when needed.
It was just for lols and giggles  Grin

~snip~

I know there are Politics in Indian cricket too. It's big mystery for me to understand why some of Indian star crickets was never included in the national team after a period of time.
Not following the context, do you mean former cricketer inclusion with the team selection committee or BCCI setup or what?

Actually, it was without any context. I never noticed if Mahi had retired from any format of cricket yet. I didn't see him in any squad for a while but he was performing in IPL. The same thing applies to Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, and Sehwag too. Was they out of form when they were kicked out of the squad? Or does BCCI just want to try younger players?

These things do not get noticed because India has a big line of talented players which is the reason people do not miss experienced campaigners like Mahi! But, Bangladeshi fans still miss Tamim Iqbal.
Normally Indian players don't announce their retirements publicly or early despite getting clear mszs from the selectors due to their deals with ad agencies as it could hurt brands a bit. One of the reasons many cricketers delay their official retirements. Management does move on and reasons could vary from case to case but it's up to players if they want to announce or not. Even the likes of Kaif, Raina publicly announced their retirement quite late.

If I am not wrong then Dhoni did announce his retirement from tests in 2014-15 and in white ball cricket official retirement came around 2020.

In previous match it was Maxwell who made them win the game and allowed Aussies to stay in the series, in this game he and all other key players left, and with remaining average squad they lost.
Without Maxwell, it is almost impossible for Australia to give away some improbable match wins. India's target of 175 runs in yesterday's match was easier compared to the other three matches but some inexperienced batting from Australia failed to meet even the target of 175 runs. When Australia had a target of 40 runs in two overs, Australia missed Maxwell a lot because this impossible task was not possible without MadMax alone. So the 20-run defeat in yesterday's match was a relief defeat for Australia. However, in Australia's fourth match, some more experienced players may be removed and given space to new players.
No one having doubt about Maxwell quality and recent performance, but you can't expect same from him in every match as he is also human being which have can do mistakes and also faced problems as well in this series he has done good job as he is well experienced after playing too much in these conditions and also against Indian team in IPL and other matches.

In start 175 was looking easy but bowlers done good job and not allowed Australian to have any resistance which help them for having third win and also win into this useless series, but we found good things in this series as new generation players are having good experience and time for giving their best in future in big platform like IPL with now after one match Indian team is heading for the South Africa which could be another entertaining tour for them.

I didn't expect India to win yesterday as score wasn't as big, but apparently Maxwell's absence was too much for Aussies to bear.

May be Inglish too, but idk if his impact was that much.
This is not only you there is many people didn't expect on that match India to win. Because basically the creases where the matches are held are the batting creases, so if you have to bat first here in the T20 format, if the team is above 200 runs, then the team is basically free of pressure, and in the last match India was able to get 174 runs. As such, I thought that since Australia also has a good batting side, they have more chances. But despite the wicket of Australia, they could not come back. Anyway, let's see if Australia can achieve going to tomorrow's match.

Tomorrow is another match of India vs Australia but it doesn't matter that which team needs to win because the result has come and India wins the series.
This is a very happy moment for the Indian team and people because they took the revenge of the final by winning a series.

Indian team won this series without Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandeya. Anyway, one match is left, and if Australia wins this match so they can protect their respect for cricket, and the last match hosted by Bangluru, let's see what happens who will win on the Bengaluru pitch.

Nowadays it is very difficult to predict the match in sports especial who will win. In the last match I thought that Australia might try to win the match and equalize but they lost the series before the final match. Now just waiting to conduct a match by maintaining the formalities of the series. However, there are various predictions about which team will win the last match. What I personally understand that India will be ahead as both high and low scores can determine their win, while the pitch will also play an important role if Australia's Maxwell and good star players are involved.

I think i told this before also that if you are confused on who can win the match, one way is to look at it is through the odds being offered by the gambling site.

I checked the match odds at stake.com

India is clearly the favorite tomorrow with the odds of 1.53. So if you want to go with the bookies mindset, then you can bet on India. However, if you think that since India has the series in their name, they may rest some players or may not take the game that seriously, then betting on Australia and getting 2.40 odds is not bad either.

India vs Australia T20 match played four out of five matches where India beat Australia by winning three out of four matches to seal the series win. Even if Australia wins tomorrow's match, they will win the series in India. A win in this T20 series will ease the pain of losing the final to India. I hope India wins the match which is tomorrow. If India can win the match tomorrow and beat Australia then the Indian people will get a lot of peace and forget the pain of playing the final.

In the first innings no one could predict that Axar Patel would be the man of the match because in the first innings, he did very poor batting and cannot make a one score, by the way, if they made one run so we also criticized him on their batting.

Anyway, India won this match because of Axar Patel so that's why they didn't criticise him otherwise if they lost this match or Aar Patel hadn't taken any wickets so I am 100% sure Indian people would have been crazy for him because he didn't do well batting and bowling but he did good bowling so people are quite satisfied with him.

India won the match because of the bowling of Patel and Axar Patel is the man of the match due to their performance and if they don't make him man of the match so this is not fair because as he did bowling they deserve the achievement of man of the match.

He really played massively well, we should appreciate him, he is one of those who led the win to the Indian team in the future. He did very well bowling, he main wicket that he took was Travis Head because they settled for a long time so you can imagine that what happens with the Indian team so this is good for India that Axar Patel took the wicket of him at the right moment.

MSD been a mentor to the team India for 2022 T20 squad but it's their decision and everyone have their own way of living after their cricket career ends, and it's not in the hand of cricket boards to choose that but from a fan's perspective it will be like that.

I just want to say something, not all great coaches were great players means it's two different task and one get to conquer over other.

T20I world cup is where all of the full/A teams meets to decide the world champions.
Whatever team people may call it but they were some entertaining matches with close contest and good performance from both the teams.
Now in last few years we have more entertainment from the leagues instead of these international matches because quality difference is widening, and many teams are suffering due to finances and domestic issues which are really problem with this all recently we have not good leadership from the ICC as well which helps to increase quality of the game like FIFA which is also problem but still things are going good, and they are taking good profit which is good for them.
Zimbabwe and Kenya out of the T20i World cup with we are having teams like Namibia and Uganda which is good, but these old pals are also needed to increase their quality and performance as well which will help this game.

Sure they should try new bowlers here but regarding WC, I say India only lost due to not having enough runs on the board. Wc trio was good as it could be.

I did not understand the reason why Australia did not keep experienced players in this case, but for today's match, Australia needed to include Maxwell, Stoinis in their squad. Had Australia won tomorrow's match, the series might have been less likely to be lost and they would have had to wait for the fifth match. But Australia was defeated in yesterday's match only due to lack of experienced players. In this case, if there are no players like Maxwell of Australia, it will not be possible to get such a tough match, which Australia has proved by yesterday's target of 175 runs.
Maybe by winning this series, the sadness of Rohit Sharma's defeat in this World Cup will be mitigated to some extent.

I agree that the absence of experienced players affected Australia's performance in the match. Including players like Maxwell and Stoinis could have added strength to the team. It's always a challenge to select a squad, and the outcome of the match might have been different with their inclusion.

On the other hand, it will be an immediate recovery from Rohit Sharma's defeat in the World Cup, winning this series could indeed provide some solace for Indian cricket fans. Let's hope for a better performance in the upcoming matches.

Bilateral series are the great opportunity to groom players but India is just aiming for the results and they have been constantly dominating all the bilateral series which has no use if they don't try things that can't be done in the world cup like series.

Australia had won against India in the third match, so why did they enter the fourth T20I with so much change in the winning combination? Most of the players in the XI that Australia fielded in the crucial match against India are new to me. If they needed so much to bring in new players then they could have brought them in the fifth match why did they do so in the fourth match which was a very important match for them. None of those who scored runs in the third game were included in the fourth game. When India scored below 180 in the first innings, I thought maybe they could win the match in Australia, but Australia did not win and were defeated by 20 runs. If Australia won the fourth match, the fifth match would have been much more interesting, but since India won the fourth match, there is no interest in watching the fifth match.
Australia also bringing their new generation into this format which mean their eyes on next T20i world cup with they are already having WTC and ODI World Cup and things are looking favorable for their next title as well, and they are taking this series as practice for their future and IPL auction is also which will have good impact on their players finances with India also wants more players from the Australia, South Africa and England which give them good boost in quality and finances.

India's youngster are really at the top and having good technique and quality which is important for the game in this series their confidence level is also impressive against top quality Australia now most chances we will end this series with result of 4-1 which could be good for the tour of South Africa.
