This match is pretty much over if you ask me. Placed a live bet on GT though the odds were pretty low a couple of minutes ago. Gill was playing well throughout this season, but he went berserk in recent matches scoring century after century.

MI will probably score above 200, but they won't reach the target thanks to Rashid, Shami etc.

Edit: GT blew away MI just like MI blew away LSG. I truly hope the final will be a thriller instead of a one sided affair. 51:49 in GT's favor thanks to home ground advantage.

Mumbai batsmen are very experienced and are in very good form now. Also, today's pitch is batting-friendly pitch. After that, batting to a target of 234 runs and winning doesn't seem possible to me. Maybe Mumbai players will be able to collect runs like 190-200. They will probably lose by 20-30 runs. But if the two Mumbai openers can build a big partnership then the match is likely to be in Mumbai's control.

What a batsman Shubman is he has scored 128 runs with a runrate of 220 what player he is , a good start from gujrat titans and good target in process.
Hopefully they do good with balling to win this match and make their way to finals .

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to field against Gujarat Titans. Gujarat Titans are now in to bat. 9.4 overs of the game have already ended where Gujarat Titans managed to score 84 runs for one wicket against Mumbai Indians. Like other matches, Wriddhiman Saha failed to play a big innings in the opening match. But Shubman Gill is performing consistently today as in other matches. A great fifty has already come from his bat. Surely Gujarat Titans fans will want Shubman Gill to make his innings bigger. At the moment, if Mumbai Indians can't fall wickets, then a big target can come for Mumbai Indians.

In today's match, Gujarati Titans are proceeding with a very good performance. Gujarat have lost just one wicket but are not under much wicket pressure as Mumbai Indians are not performing as well in bowling and fielding as they have been in other matches today. The run rate is going up a lot so if Gujarat Titans collect runs then the run pair will be huge. Akash Madhwal conceded seven runs in just one over but failed to pick up any wickets. Akash Madhwal was the only one coming for Mumbai Indians because if he can keep wickets falling then Mumbai Indians will surely win. Nice to see that we are not witnessing complete washouts or overcuts in knockouts despite heavy rain. BCCI seems to relaxing a lot of rules, like not thinking of cutting overs even if there is a 2 hour delay, which is nice considering we have no reserve day.

MI is a big team and knows how to handle the pressure of knockouts but still, Gujrat looks favorite to me. I do want CSK vs MI finals tho.

If any team can beat Gujarat Titans, it is going to be Mumbai Indians. Their weaknesses were exposed during the match against Chennai Super Kings. During that match, their bowlers leaked a lot of runs and in return GT fell short of the target. A lot will depend on how the top-2 bowlers will perform today for Gujarat Titans - Mohammad Shami and Rashid Khan. And also on how much support they get from Noor Ahmed and Mohit Sharma (and probably also Josh Little). Mumbai has one of the strongest batting lineups for any teams in this IPL and it is going to be a tough challenge for the GT bowlers.
