Sri Lanka Women team had played well in the first ODI. They've won the match in a much easier way. England team managed to score 106 runs losing every wicket. Sri Lanka Women team reached the target in 18 overs losing just three wickets. The ODI series could be won by Sri Lanka Women team. Second match is scheduled to take place tomorrow. Tomorrow's match will be more interesting as England will try to make it a winning match and level the series and keep the hope of winning the series as one more match is left.

I think people left T20 posts for some time because all people post on one-day-international because the Asia Cup is on a one-day and some series is also on one-day. Then I am thinking I need to post in T20. A new series of T20 is coming on the 12th of December between West Indies and England.

I know that is a too much long time. But, that time was also gone.

In second and third T20 SL women team where able to bowl out English team before there allocated 20 overs. This tells the story that SL bowling is improving. Women cricket for decades is dominated by English, Aussies and NZ teams. But now teams like SA and SL are also coming up and showing some good play. If this continues then we might see end of dominance of big 3 in women.

The third T20 match was a series deciding match for both teams as England and Sri Lanka won the first match and the second match so the series would go to the team that won the third match. Sri Lanka Women's team won the third match and won the series against England. Batting failure was the main reason for England's defeat in the third match, England managed to score only 116 runs against the Sri Lankan women's team in the third match. Sri Lanka secured this victory with three overs in hand. On the other hand, the England women are having more than a decade of experience in playing in such leagues. It was shocking to see the England women getting bundled out for 116 runs, despite having the presence of experienced players like Danni Wyatt and Heather Knight. I didn't think New zealand would be able to draw this series after losing the first two matches by a huge margin . New zealand lost the first two matches by big margins. But then the New zealand batsmen made a great comeback. We have seen very good performances from the New Zealand batsmen in the last two matches. They have batted responsibly. However, the series was undoubtedly very competitive. Every match was enjoyable. England's poor batting in the last two matches surprised me a lot. Now it was waiting to see how England performs in the ODI series. I would expect a better performance from England in ODIs.

Kyle Jamieson was exceptional in the third T20I, while Matt Henry and the spinners did the job for fourth match. Now the T20I series is completed and the two teams will face each other in ODI format.
