Anyone following the Major League Cricket? Today we had an excellent match between San Francisco Unicorns and MI New York, which was won by the former. Corey Anderson (now an American citizen) blasted 91 from 52 balls for SFU, ably supported by Shadab Khan with a 30-ball 61. For MI New York, Trent Boult and Kagiso Rabada picked up 2 wickets apiece, but the local (American) bowlers leaked too many runs. In return, Tim David, Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran and Dewald Brevis all made good contributions for MINY, but in the end they lost by 22 runs.
Bangladesh were under a lot of pressure heading into the last as the fall of wickets almost engulfed Bangladesh. As luck would have it, Towhid Hridyo Hridyo did not allow Hridyo to make it to a half-century that was struck by Shariful Islam for a boundary. If Tauhid could have taken heart from these four runs, he would have taken the place of the half-century. This was the first T20 match Bangladesh won but it was a very competitive match. However, if Roni Talukder and Nazmul Hasan Shanto could have collected some more runs, then Bangladesh would not have to face so much pressure towards the last over. Meanwhile, Afghanistan put in a very good bowling performance to clinch their win.
Bangladesh was careless in the ODI series and the same had costed them big to experience an unforgettable loss of series. Now they're very careful and played the match in a well planned manner amidst the wickets falling at regular intervals. Afghanistan is really good at its performance, and no down to Bangladesh is batting and bowling. Close fight and Bangladesh won the match, maybe the next match can go into the hands of Afghanistan if this kind of game continues.

Finally Bangaladesh will uin the match l already said Ban will win the match.The match was very interesting .There was a lot of twist especially on the last .very very suspense was in last over. Something I thought AFG would win and sometime I thought Bangladesh would win .But Bangladesh wanted the suspense in the match so they did so.

. That certainly jeopardized the chance of Bangladesh winning this match. But luckily Bangladesh was able to win without any big problem. I was having flashbacks of the match between Bangladesh and India, which was probably the Asia Cup final where Bangladesh lost by one run. Luckily that did not happen. Bangladesh won the first T20 between Afghanistan and Bangladesh. The run was slow from the start. When Bangladesh were four wickets for 64 runs in 10 overs, the top 4 batsmen of the team went back to the dressing room. At one time, it seemed that Bangladesh would not be able to turn around this match. Towhid Hridoy and Shamim Hossain batting skills were excellent. Bangladesh won despite the dramatic last over.

As a single run equalized but three wickets fell for that single run. Although Shariful Islam has done that work, but by that time, the nervous pressure of the Bangladeshi supporters had failed. In other words, only 6 runs were needed for the victory of Bangladesh in the 20th over where Tawheed Hriday and Mehdi Hasan were on the wicket. Mehdi Hasan hit four in the first ball of the 20th over. Karim Jannat scored a hat-trick in international cricket for the first time by picking up three wickets in the next three balls. If the second ball had taken a single after hitting a boundary in the first ball, then maybe we would not have had to worry so much at the end. Anyway, congratulations to Bangladeshi fans and management.

After winning the toss in the first T20 match against Afghanistan, Bangladesh decided to field. Their fielding decision was absolutely right, putting Afghanistan under a lot of pressure early on. But Md Nabi batted brilliantly and scored 54 runs off 40 balls, he is unbeaten. The player did not have much of a partnership with him in the early days of Afghanistan but Azmatullah with Md Nawi had a great partnership.
