It is normal for players to lose form. Indian management should now help certain young talented players to get experienced. Otherwise, they will not get talents like Rohit or Kohli in the future.

Yesterday we had a PSL exhibition match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi. The match was a close one and Quetta Gladiators won the match by three runs.

Quetta made 184 runs and Peshawar Zalmi was only able to score 181 runs. It was a close entertaining match being witnessed at Qutta stadium after a long time.

The main highlight of this match was Iftikhar Ahmed who hit 6 sixes in a single over making a record for Pakistan. Also, Shaheen Afridi was also playing in the match and he scored 25 runs.

IPL is now the most popular and expensive cricket league in the world. The popularity of Big Bash has gradually declined since the inception of the IPL. Every season of IPL is very busy. BCCI earns a lot of money and they try their best to organize an enjoyable league. We see almost all the star players of the world in IPL.

IPL will start for women which is definitely a piece of good news. However, the audience of women's cricket is very less around the world. Will it be profitable for BCCI? The arrangement will cost a lot of money. If it is not financially viable it will not last long.

Its good to see cricket back in Quetta, Pakistan after 26 years. Last time an ODI was played in Quetta in Oct 1996, since then there is no international match in Quetta. In that last ODI, there is partnership of 143 runs between Flower brothers but still Pakistan managed to win that game.
Its not an international match still credit goes to PCB for energizing the Quetta stadium. 6 sixes from (Chacha) Iftikhar were entertaining and is signal that we will see more such action in PSL.

I think it's pretty evident now that Gill is the next big thing for India in cricket, we have got the number 1 choice of opener with Rohit Sharma, probably Ishan Kishan can fill the position once Rohit retires. But I will be much more confident about him once he scores with similar potential on foreign pitches as well. Also this clearly shows that how he can change gears while he is batting.

Obviously many young guns might still come but he is currently the best bet for sure, as you said even better than Gill if we go by stats. The problem or maybe you can say the good thing with Indian selection team is they bet on heroes, they tried to make KL Rahul one until he made a fool of himself but they have been giving him so many chances even till now, they gave it to Sky he has proved his worth, now their next bet for a hero is Gill so he is going to get a lot of chances now.

I thought Brisbane Heat will win the match. But my guess was wrong. Unfortunately, Brisbane lost. Brisbane gave a big target of 176 runs. As if in just 7.5 overs they were able to take the wickets of three important batsmen of Perth Scorchers. But then Perth Scorchers took an easy win in the match due to responsible batting by Inglish and Turner.

After observing some matches of the Big Bash League 2022-23, many people may have thought that Sydney Sixers will be the champions of the Big Bash League, but that picture has completely changed. Sydney Sixers failed to qualify in the final and eliminated from the tournament after losing to Brisbane Heat. Perth Scorchers on the other hand reached that desired goal. I think it's pretty evident now that Gill is the next big thing for India in cricket, we have got the number 1 choice of opener with Rohit Sharma, probably Ishan Kishan can fill the position once Rohit retires. I am just hoping gill performs similarly in test cricket as well because if he does one can say he is the next Indian prodigy. But I will be much more confident about him once he scores with similar potential on foreign pitches as well. Also this clearly shows that how he can change gears while he is batting.

Kishan won't get many chances in the national team due to his performances and rightly so.

The jury is still out on Gill as far as T-20 is concerned (he already proved himself in other formats), he played beautifully today but it's pretty rare if we look at his T-20 (including IPL) PP's record, he's one of the worst openers in Indian T-20 history, along with KL Rahul.

I know he won't but so far he has proved his worth almost every time and after Gill has turned into a prodigy, selectors would be trying hard to find the second opener and I don't see a better option than him right now. Obviously many young guns might still come but he is currently the best bet for sure, as you said even better than Gill if we go by stats. The problem or maybe you can say the good thing with Indian selection team is they bet on heroes, they tried to make KL Rahul one until he made a fool of himself but they have been giving him so many chances even till now, they gave it to Sky he has proved his worth, now their next bet for a hero is Gill so he is going to get a lot of chances now.

Brisbane Heat were able to give a good target of 176 runs but a real captain knock by Ashton Turner was the reason why Perth Scorchers are the new BBL winners. Brisbane Heat were in full as they picked up three wickets in eight over but then Josh Inglis and Ashton Turner did the rescue work for PS.

Ashton Turner was able to score 53 runs out of 32 balls at the right time. If he hadn't scored those runs, it would've turned to be a win for Brisbane Heat. Being the captain Ashton Turner had done good. Consecutive trophy wins make Perth Scorchers to be the best team of Big Bash League. Throughout the league their performance is good and they were at the lead on points table.
