Target of 56 could have been easy for Ireland, but they managed to make it complicated. And they should be really worried about the poor form of both of their openers (Paul Stirling & Andy Balbirnie). These two are considered as their best batsmen, but looks out of form for a while. The middle order on the other hand is looking good (Lorcan Tucker, Harry Tector and George Dockrell).
First of all, I really think that the DLS method should be revised. I believe Afghanistan was going to make some big shots and get some quick runs in the end but the rain interruption was really bad for them. The interruption came at a bad time. No doubt recently Ireland is one of the most improving sides, and they have done good work but still they need good bowlers and a good batting coach which teach them how to stand on pitch until end of the match here I agree with you all batsmen doing good start but sadly as they settle mostly they got out which is surely a problem for them here they need someone who stay at crease and give opportunity to others for finishing in good way.

Hopefully their funding will increase in the next cycle (2024-31) and that will enable the national board to engage in revolutionary changes to Irish cricket. Actually, Ireland played in a specific 20 over game. They thought they would play a 20 over game.But whenever the match was abandoned due to rain and the match was brought to 11 overs on the instructions of the authorities, there was nothing for Ireland to do.They never thought that the match would be stopped due to rain and reduced to 11 overs, perhaps a great pity for Ireland.
