I do not think Pakistan was unlucky. I think they had no clue or plan on how to win against Srilanka. Babar Azam is out of form and this might not go well with Pakistan in the T20WC.

Above all Pakistan lost to a team which has not been able to qualify for the T20WC which is to be held next month. This loss is nothing but a humiliating defeat for Pakistan.

Defeat will be in the game but when that loss is against a small team that too in the final match of any tournament, it is definitely hard to accept. But it has to be said that when Sri Lanka team under pressure, Pakistan can make them look silly. As a result of which Sri Lanka was able to score big and finally they win the Asia Cup.

If Fakhar and Babar batted well, Pakistan could have won easily even after batting at a target of 170 runs. Pakistan needs to reduce its dependence on these three players. . One of the best performance by Sri Lanka, i lost my bet but once i saw the dedication in the field by the Sri Lankan players, saying runs throwing around and their catching was brilliant.

They played as a team and won the tournament, even when they lost the wickets when they were batting, they somehow managed to find a partnership to build up a good total and their bowlers even though they gave many extra runs through wide deliveries they were able to control the match till the end.
