The Lions has given a low target in the second T20 game as well. Their batting lineup collapsed in the death overs today. Australia trying to win the game as quickly as possible, like they did it in the first match. Although Australia has lost their first three wickets, but they are going to chase the 125 runs target within 14 to 16 overs. Perhaps, Sri Lanka won't be able to win any T20 match in this series.

Australia won the match, but there were quite a few worrying signals for them. They lost 7 wickets while chasing such a paltry total. Jhye Richardson and Kane Richardson shared 7 wickets between them to restrict Lanka to a sub-par total, but in return none of the Australian batsmen could get to 30. David Warner continued his good form, but was unfortunate to get out too soon. Steven Smith on the other hand extended his poor T20 record. And in the end it was left for the Australian lower middle order to get them home.

Australia's fifth wicket fell for 80 runs. Australia scored 81 runs in 9 overs. Australia needs 44 runs from 66 balls to win. Maxwell and Mathew Wade are at the crease now. If the Sri Lankan bowlers can get these two players out before 100 runs, then Sri Lanka has a chance to win this match. However, if these two players are at the crease, Australia will easily win. Because they are very experienced in T20 format.
Well, it wasn't an easy victory for Australia. They have managed to win the game by 3 wickets. Sri Lanka made the game a bit competitive despite giving a low target. Matthew Wade played slowly until the end of the match, and Australia has won the game for his (Wade) batting performance. I didn't expect that Australia will struggle like that to chase this small target.

It was very difficult for Australia to win today's match. I will not say that the performance of the two openers Finch and Warner was bad. They scored 24 and 21 runs respectively. Smith, Stoinis and Agar did not perform well. Wade and Richardson's responsible batting helped Australia to win. The funny thing is that Richardson has collected 9 runs from 20 balls.
It's true there were trouble however Aussie won't surrender. Australia won by 3 wickets with 13 balls left which secure series win. Sri Lanka had the right to win this match. Clearly they batted very badly however they truly gave an extreme battle with bowling. Sri Lanka gave a smart cricket in the bowling against the extremely experienced Australian team. At least not a one sided game.

After a comprehensive first T20I victory, Srilanka though scored same runs today also but they make Australia work hard to win today's game. Srilanka need to focus on there batting, in both T20I there batting was way beyond expectation. Srilanka should try to give target of 150+ if they wanna win the game.

Tomorrow India takes on South Africa in the first T20 matche. There will be five T20 match happening therefore plenty of cricket this month too. Indian team will be captained by KL Rahul and I hope he performs well both as a captain and a batter otherwise he might not get another opportunity next time. I am also eager to see Umran Malik again in action in this series.

I am not very excited. First of all, India has got the shittiest captain possible. Anyone else, even Yuzvendra Chahal or Ishan Kishan would make a better captain when compared to KL Rahul. And now coming to Umran Malik, this is the first time that India is having a bowler who can clock 90-95 mph on a consistent basis. But he is young and he needs to have control over his deliveries. He will be up against some of the most destructive batsmen in T20 cricket, such as Quinton de Kock and David Miller. There is simply no room for any error.

I really don't think India will be able to do really well considering that they will be captained by KL Rahul. I think Hardik Pandya would have been a better captain because he has proved that in this IPL.

So, India will have some problem considering the captaincy.

Umran Malik will have to perform really well because he can make a name for himself from this series. We all know that he is a very fast bowler and if he can get some good wickets behind his name I think he will be having a really good start. And after that he will not have to do back anymore.

India will win this series. They finished IPL a few days ago. For a long time, they only played in the T20 format. At the same time the matches will be held in India. And so Indian players are now more experienced than South Africans. KL Rahul has been appointed as the captain. He will do his best to win this series. At the same time the players now have too much confidence. As a result, I think their performance will be better.

@Minor Miner I feel that it’ll be a tough series for India, because several SA player’s played in IPL therefore they’ll be familiar with Indian conditions hence I’m expecting tough fight from the SA player’s. Also India has rested their few star player’s, hence if their top order collapses then it’ll put lots of pressure on rest of the batsmen to perform, and this a key reason why I feel that SA can beat India in this series.

Josh Hazelwood, what a bowler!!

He's very underrated bowler of our times, everyone knows he's good but doesn't get enough credit due to Cummins and Starc, even in the world stage people don't talk about him passionately as compared to other bowlers.

I have personally believed that both Starc and Cummins are overrated bowlers. Starc loses his rhythm every now and then, and in the end sprays down the ball all over the ground. Cummins rarely gets wayward, but he loses his venom when put under pressure. On the other hand, Hazlewood on most occasions maintain his composure and performs well under pressure. He is the best bowling option, when the opposition batsmen need more than 10 runs per over. Express pacers such as Starc can concede a lot of runs on such occasions, and maybe a riskier option.

Josh Hazelwood performed really well in that match. Sri Lanka was looking really good till the 100 runs that they have scored.

But after that, they just collapsed. I thought they were playing really well and they would score at least 150 or 160. And that would have given them a good chance of winning. But they started losing wickets at regular intervals.

The bowlers of Sri Lanka did not have much to do because, in the end, it was the fault of their batsman. And I honestly cannot say that Mitchell starc and Cummins are overrated. Josh Hazelwood perform really well in that match but having a good performance in one match certainly does not make him a better player than the others. Michel Stark also performed well in that match even though he was a little expensive compared to Josh Hazelwood.
That's some great stuff from the World Champions! Josh Hazalwood, you are an absolute superstar. Despite being better than Michel Stark in every format, Hazlewood is still unlikely to be selected to play in the tests...
Sri Lanka was humiliated by the Australians. As a result of Sri Lanka's batting collapse, the bowling has been struggling. The Sri Lankans collapsed badly yesterday, but they did very well up until the 100-run mark! The situation has not improved since the World Cup. The Australians won by a massive margin after a dominant performance all around. It's really important to me that Sri Lanka stands up to Australia.

I like Cummins more in the test cricket but not much in T-20. Starc could be extremely deadly at times but he leaks runs like you mentioned.

I used to hate Hazelwood because of his cocky behaviour even against the umpire and he was violent one when Smith was the skipper but after his 5 overs spell against India (36-all out ), I 'm big fan.

From 100-1 to 128-10, that is Sri Lanka's batting breakdown and simultaneously what a rebound from Aussie blowers!
Now It's time Aussie batters to chase this low total. Australia again show their capabilities, yet is there any challenges sitting tight for Aussie hitters? The target may low, however this will not be a simple for Australia as there are turn wickets.
At first I thought that Sri Lanka will score above 160 runs. They had made a good start, but their batting lineup collapsed after the fall of second wicket. Hazlewood has destroyed their batting lineup. The target was quite low. Australia is playing with their strong squad. Aaron Finch and David Warner has finished the game in their style. Australia has won the first match by 10 wickets.

Sri Lanka collected more than 100 in 12 overs and lost just one wicket. If the players of the team were experienced, Sri Lanka could easily have scored more than 170 targets in this match. But they have given a target of only 129. It is impossible to win against a team like Australia with such a low target.
Yes, Sri Lanka lost its second wicket by 12 over. By that situation the score was 100 runs. In the next 7.3 overs faced Sri Lanka have managed to score 28 runs losing 8 wickets. This is really a bad performance against a strong team Australia. The opening order contributed good and the team needs to have combined progress than few player dependent.

The last time Sri Lanka won a T20 series was forgotten. Sri Lanka won only one of the five matches against Australia. And they have not won a single match in a three-match series against India. The condition of the Sri Lankan team is very bad now. They should organize a series against relatively weaker teams.
During the February month Sri Lanka played a series against Australia. In that series Sri Lanka won two T20s. Sri Lanka looked strong with the previous set of players who have now turned coaches and advisors. As said Sri Lanka need to plan something and work on it, if not it could get defeated by new teams entering the cricket.

I was very disappointed to see the batting of the Sri Lankan busmen. Sri Lanka's collection was 100 in 12 overs. They lost 8 wickets in the last 8 overs and collected only 28 runs. However, the bowling of Starc and Hazlewood was very destructive today. Australia will win this match very easily. I'm looking forward to seeing Aaron Finch and David Warner perform.

The match is now being delayed due to rain. Australia did not lose a wicket in 11.4 overs, and they were able to collect 101 runs. Australia needs only 28 runs from 50 balls to win. Warner scored 58 off 37 balls and Finch scored 42 off 33 balls. Australia will win easily if the match is not abandoned due to rain. It was a completely one-sided match.
