Pakistan VS South Africa

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat against South Africa. But their top order is also broken today. At the end of 10 overs, Pakistan collected only 68 runs with the loss of 4 wickets. Rizwan 4 and Babar Azam got out with just 6 runs off 15 balls. If the target is less than 140, South Africa will win this match unilaterally.

South African players are in very good form now. They have not lost even one of the three matches yet. And the performance of their batsmen is excellent now. And so Pakistan's chances of winning are very slim if they don't give a big target.
Pakistan is batting now, but Pakistan's good batting team could not score good runs in this match. However, in this match, Pakistan's batting team got out with very few runs. Pakistan scored 101 runs in 13.1 overs and lost 5 wickets. Mohammad  Haris he scored very few runs in this match I think. He scored 28 runs off 11 balls. If he could have scored a few more runs it would have been good.

Pakistan is moving towards a bigger collection. They collected 135 runs in 16 overs. Probably they will be able to give more than 170 targets. And so decent enough target to win. Because Pakistan has some very talented bowlers. The way Pakistan started their innings, I thought it would be difficult for them to even score 120 runs. Their collection was only 43 runs in the first 7 overs. And in the next 7 overs they collected 62 runs. Mohammad Haris scored 28 runs off just 11 balls. Iftikhar was unbeaten with 41 runs off 28 balls. And Shadab scored 22 runs off 11 balls. With Shadab and Iftikhar at the crease it will be very easy for Pakistan to collect more than 180.

This year's ICC T20 World Cup. Many matches were impossible to enjoy properly due to rain. Today is the match between Pakistan and South Africa. Whether I can enjoy it well is also a matter of concern. Australia's climate is variable. Weather can change at any time. Gamblers are also suffering due to rain. They also have various types of shyness to bet on the game

I would say ICC should have been more conscious of venue selection. The weather forecast is now known in advance. And we already knew that there is a chance of rain in Australia this month. The ICC should not have hosted the World Cup in Australia this month. Several matches were abandoned due to rain. Bangladesh and England lost against India and Ireland only because of rain.

For each match that is washed out, the TV and online streaming rights holders lose a combined $20 million. I am not sure how much it is going to build a stadium with retractable roof. We already have one in Melbourne (Docklands Stadium, now called the Marvel Stadium). Back in 2000, the construction of this stadium cost A$460 million (approx $290 million). So if the stadium can save 15 matches from rain interruption, it may recover the money. BTW, the Narendra Modi Stadium at Ahmedabad cost around $100 million to build.

ICC has always extended more cooperation with India. And this isn't the first time we've seen it. We have seen this in the past as well. And now we are used to it. According to ICC rules, 5 runs are fined for fake fielding (As far as I know). Bangladesh will win this match if India is now penalized by 5 runs. Secondly, I am not a cricket expert. But many experts say the ground was not fit for the game. The match should have started a little later. The play was restarted essentially to give India a chance. However, Bangladesh players played well. And even though they didn't win this match, I think everyone liked the gameplay of the Bangladesh team in this match.
The striker didn't see Kohli.
Nonstriker didn't even look at Kohli when running.
The umpires didn't notice Kohli.
The camera did notice Kohli

Law 41.5.1 states that “it is unfair for any fielder wilfully to attempt, by word or action, to distract, deceive or obstruct either batsman after the striker has received the ball” but how come you are allowed to penalize the fielding side when striker and nonstriker didn't even distract by fielders? For this they have to notice the fielder or even someone from the dugout but no one did. You can't bring this clause when a match is finished.

Edit

Btw the Nurul Hasan is facing some match fee sanctions due to this "Fake fielding" allegation.

We can debate about ICC's bias towards India for the next two months, or even the next two years. But nothing is going to change. ICC is not FIFA, FIH or FIBA to remain neutrality instead of favoring any single country. First of all, the ICC is headed by a businessmen (Greg Barclay) and this has been the norm ever since that organization was founded. And the BCCI for most part was also headed by either politicians or businessmen. Why should these people prioritize game over money? On the first part they have no love for cricket. Their love is only towards money.
It looks like ICC is controlled and managed by BCCI ,like Indian dominate in game even in umpire decisions and instructing umpires about no balls ny Virat Kohli is strange.  All of us can see how Virat told umpire about no ball in match against Pakistan and yesterday same thing happened against Bangladesh, so let's just notice everything and enjoy this World Cup.

Yes, it is not fair to do so. Such comments are arranging due to the last match playing against Bangladesh. The fake fielding of Virat Kohli on the other is the Wet out field. Virat Kohli is also a super star player. I do not want to impose any fault on Kohli. He has made the wrong and he will get his punishment. But it is their failure to those who have not seen especially the umpires. The umpires made such a big mistake but it was visible in the eyes of ordinary people which is questionable. And if India have the power then why need to play the game?. But i do not think Bangladesh can make an excuse. Due to the wet out field the fielders will also have more problems. A batman's pitch is always covered during rain. The bad performance of Bangladesh is responsible for losing the match.
In the end, the ICC and the TV broadcasters (as well as the online streaming platforms) need India to be in the semi-finals (and preferably in the final as well). The viewership for matches in the next stage will be a lot lower, if India fails to qualify. And that is the reason why some of the rules are being bent and there is not much outcry from any of the other boards. Even the PCB has remained silent on what happened yesterday. But then, it is the fault of BCB as well. BCB in recent times taken a negative view on spreading the game. And in the long run, it ensures that the revenues remain concentrated in India.

What you said is the actual image which is inside the screen but not displayed outside. And there is no scope to reveal anything like this outside. So what will be happen about playing cricket? Will people's interest in cricket continue in the near future? Unlike franchise matches, when dominance is indulged in big events like the World Cup, people will withdraw their enthusiasm from here. I think ICC should play a neutral role in World Cup. India is a big country and it cannot be denied that they have contributed a lot to cricket. But the confidence of cricket cannot be lost, even if it does not have a temporary effect but it can have a huge impact on the future. Where cricket's existence may be fall in critical stage.

Now in big games India can't win without empires as yesterday this happens second time no one taking any action against them because ICC is having 70% of revenue from India which is now big problem and main reason for this all cheating and unsporting things which are happening few years back there was Michael Clark who first time talk about this, but now things are opening and all are watching by naked eyes how they are controlling empires and game poor event in Australia.

Before the rain, Bangladesh were in a perfect state of momentum. Bangladesh's chances of winning against India were affected by the rain. In the same moment when rain broke their winning momentum, India came back with a great performance. Later, Nurul Hasan tried his best but it wasn't enough to win the match for the team. Liton Das played a good game of cricket.

Rain is really becoming an irritant in this tournament. Multiple matches were abandoned, and some more were curtailed as a result of rain interruptions. Regarding yesterday's incident, I partially agree with some of the other users here. If India was in the same position as Bangladesh, then the match would have never resumed and as per the DLS rule, India would have been declared as the winners. The same thing happened during the match between South Africa and Zimbabwe. The umpires forced Zimbabwe players to resume play, when the outfield was still wet. As a result Richard Ngarava got injured and had to be taken off.

Rain has stopped play and hopefully we will not miss the match and will be able to continue soon.

Sure, ICC just needed to tell the umpires to start the match as soon as the rain stops. And do not care about the wet outfield. Who knows they may have ordered to play in the rain too if the rain would not have stopped.  Cheesy

Congratulations to India win but please world is not blind  Smiley

Different people have different comments. What you've made is really different. I don't know if a team will think in such a way to loss and reduce the chance of another team entering the semifinals. According to me, the team will try to win and confirm its position into the semifinals. If India have won the match against South Africa, now it's semifinals position could've been almost confirmed.
You are correct people have different views and ideas - but for sure. Between India and Pakistan the element of rively has always been there
When there was match between India and Pakistan - almost 11 million people were watching online so the gambling and the other things are obvious

The big games like the match between India Vs Pakistan, Australia Vs India or England Vs Australia bring a lot of revenue as advertisers are interested in these matches.

At the same time, the gambling in these matches is to the next level and bookies spend a lot of money on betting on these high profile matches. You and I only watch these matches while we never know what is going on behind the scene when it comes to betting and advertising. This is a whole new business that runs along with the match.
that is for sure - some of the matches are worth watching and the gambling and bookies make it more interesting
We were so young - when we started listening about the gambling and match fixing and stuff like this.

Honestly I came today in this thread to watch people cry again for cheating Cheesy Cheesy

People do not cry about cheating, people just see what the umpires are doing. Who is behind all this and who is benefited? Of course, money buys everything. Also, I suggest that instead of coming to this thread seeing people protesting (not crying), why not come up with your arguments to prove that you are right?

So here is a question for you and others. If the zero wickets are lost, the target should be 133 runs and not 151 after 16 overs. So how will you justify this target of 151 runs  Cheesy

Again, India tried every trick in the book, to ensure they win this match. Smiley I wished the same efforts could be done by them in the playing  field too.

Honestly I came today in this thread to watch people cry again for cheating Cheesy Cheesy anyways Shakib pretty much answered what any sane person would say, wet outfield always favours the batting team. Moreover, No one even knows for what Bangladeshi's were talking to Umpire but I understand anguish. i would have done the same if I were at your place.

In the first match by the way I saw even Netherlands manage to beat Zimbabwe. This has made things pretty clear now India and SA advance to the semis which was pretty much expected before the start of the tournament itself.

Sad day for Bangladeshi players they played really good and fought really hard to chase the runs. But all the wickets made things difficult for them ,excellent fielding by Indian fielders not a single drop catch or midfield .
This is their hard work and determination that makes them win every match. Well done India!

Bangladesh played good cricket but they could have easily won this match. Bangladesh's middle-order batsmen cannot escape the reason for their defeat in this match. Liton Kumar Das played a brilliant innings, as long as he was at the crease team India was heading for defeat, and their body language showed how worried they were. But unfortunately Liton Kumar Das was run out, and India took control of the match again. Bangladesh should have won this match, but they failed.

Do you know that when the field is wet it favors the batting team? So who was batting at that time? It was Bangladesh batting. So the condition was favorable for Bangladesh.

If you do not remember, in the last world cup, the formula was to win the toss and bat second. Why? Because there was dew in the second half and bowling was not easy. So can we say that umpire favored Bangladesh to allow play in a wet outfield making it difficult for the Indian bowlers to bowl?

What if, India had lost this match, would the social media scream that it was the umpire's decision making India lose Huh

Finally, you are forgetting that India made 180+ runs. How many times 180+ was chased in this WC? I think not even once, so how come you think that India won with the help of umpires?
