Good and confident batting by Sirlankan batsman ,really mature. Afghanistan ballers failed to perform well as a result its a ✌ victory for Sirlanka. Well done and well deserved.
Afghanistan could have put more pressure on Sirlankan batters in balling and took some more wickets but its a game . The best time won.

A small correction. The peak viewership for the India vs Pakistan match was 15 million. I was expecting in the range of 20-25 million, since it was a Sunday and the timeslot was very convenient for the viewers in subcontinent. And BTW, there wasn't much difference in the viewership for the other matches as well. The Ireland vs Australia match had a peak viewership of 11 million. Hopefully the numbers would be higher once we go in to the semi-finals stage. For Hotstar, the subscription fee and advertisement revenue should be enough to break even.

The BCCI selection committee mindlessly announced 4 different squads for NZ and BAN tours (T-20,ODI and Tests). With some players overlapping, i thought they will not mess up the selection but again these f*ckers left a couple of guys who are regularly performing in the domestic like Prithvi and Sarfaraz.

Dinesh Karthik and Ashwin will no longer be selected in the T20 squad. I do not have the source as if now but found it out on Twitter. Anyone with the source please post it quoting my reply. I do not think the ODI's in Newzealand matter much as in the T20's. The selectorshave given more emphasis to T20 and not ODI. Such selection clearly indicates BCCI is more optimistic about T20 in the future and not ODI.

Dinesh Karthik and Ashwin should not be given another chance. They got a chance to perform in three matches. But their performance was not good in any match. As India management has more talented and experienced players. So instead of Karthik and Ashwin other players should be given chance. On the other hand, opener KL Rahul collected 22 runs from 34 balls in 3 matches. His performance is also very bad. So it will not be surprising if the Indian management gives chance to another player as Rahul's replacement. A place like the World Cup should not take the risk of giving an out-of-form player a chance. Maybe we will see many changes in India's squad in the match against Bangladesh. Although Bangladesh is not a tough opponent, the internal changes in the squad should be made now if we want to perform well in the upcoming matches.

Same changes are required in Pakistan team too ,management should give chance to different players in place of those who are not performing continously. This is World Cup and no chances should be taken by management.
