The best and only strategy when the market is falling is to hodl till the there is pump in price and for those that are financially buoyant keep buying cheap to increase your stack because dump market is opportunity to invest more ahead of the next bull run
If you have altcoins most especially now, i would advise you do not sell, but that you should hold. Else you might later blame yourself for selling low.
its a normal thing for the market to fall at times, you can not expect it to keep mooning. the strategy most investors and traders use is to have fiat in place to buy the dip in situations like this and always take profits when your portfolio is growing in order to avoid regrets

The tactic you say seems to be good and certainly worth imitating,but if my tactics when the market is down it still holds it,
because if we sell it when conditions like that are of course very detrimental to ourselves
Tactic is very easy - hold until the price is fixed back. But I try now a new one, I bought more Bitcoin to already owned and it should work. It should not be bad to buy more of it, even the man is in loss.
Do not need to panic at all. ups and downs is the nature of crypto market. All you need is to keep calm and wait for the mmarket flow to go upwards. when it goes up then see your coins, and whenever you are geeting profit then sell it and take your profit.

Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.

Take advatange of the market pumping and dumping. Learn on how to preidct market volatilities and how the market would most likely move from one point in time.
Each has its own strategy when the market falls , I think it is better when the course falls just to get away from the exchange and relax all the time when the coins fall
For me when market is falling I will convert to USDT and wait for the fall, when market is totally down, I will buy with the USDT getting more coin and wait for uptrend, when the market is up, I will sell off and convert to USDT again waiting for downtrend again. 
You can make progressive sales without panic when the market falls. So you can trade at the falling period without hurting by buying at a low price. This tactic is usually useful. Do not be a prisoner of your feelings.
yeah. The best move in times of decline is to hold. Hold until the price increases again and safe to sell and secure your profit. This is the general strategy of everyone here.

There is some important tactics but first of them for me; Dont hodl at bear market, dont do this anytime. People just say invest and hold, we are dropping 6-8 times and still they are saying just hold.

Sure it is. As in any other currency, such moments are not uncommon. But it only means that soon it will go back to the top, and that means profit.
It's an opportunity to buy more altcoins keep when the market is going down, and sell them when the market is picking up again. It works for me. You can as well give it a try as well.
