As a young bitcoiner that is having plans to invest in bitcoin or already investing. How do you feel about the current price of bitcoin?
* is it encouraging to you that this is an opportunity for you to buy more.
* does it makes you  lose  hope concerning your investment that it should have gone beyond bitcoin current price of $25,835.
I'm a long term investor and used to seeing the price of Bitcoin turning up and down. Hence, it's not surprising anymore if the market currently is not what many investors expected it to be (turning bullish because of the near halving). So if you dyor before investing to Bitcoin, you'll understand how it works because you track its past history and aware of what happened in the past.

Thus, if you're a new investor and losing hope due to the current condition, remember that this is just temporary. It can help if you stop monitoring the market and forget for a while the price to prevent stressing yourself and thinking how long the bear season will last. It's part of the cycle and it has an advantage for investors waiting to buy at cheaper price.

Before now many speculators do say by this the price of bitcoin should be around $35,000 by now, and this is the kind of news investors wants to hear all the time but it is unfortunate that the price of bitcoin has drop to $25k which can be heart breaking to some investors expecially the new ones.
OP It's as if you already know how heartbreaking the decline in the price of bitcoin is for some investors, especially the new ones. They are in an awful situation since they are unaware of bitcoin's volatile nature and how it works (price increases and decreases). They bought bitcoins for short-term goals, not for long-term goals. If people truly intend to invest in Bitcoin for long-term objectives, the price decline won't break their hearts instead providing them with a chance to buy additional Bitcoin at a lower price.

The majority of new crypto investors experience heartbreak and lose hope in bitcoin when the price changes in ways that are greater than what they anticipated (price reduction). Because of that, some of them may even be able to sell their bitcoin holdings at a loss.
Then those people simply do not have what it takes to be part of this market, I could understand that kind of attitude from someone that was investing in this market when it was on its early stages, but anyone that invest now can watch the price history of bitcoin and watch how it moves, and if they feel they cannot deal with those movements then they can decide to not invest in bitcoin, but instead they just come here because they have heard they can make easy money, and then they get disappointed the market did not gave them the fortune they were expecting in a matter of weeks.

In the stock market, the people who get the highest returns are the ones who touch the investment the least. That's assuming you buy quality stocks, or if you don't want to get complicated, just index funds. It is the same in bitcoin. Think of the people who bought 10 years ago and the same thing. Who has benefited the most? The one who didn't sell anything or the one who got carried away by the news of the moment and sold? In the end, if what you buy is good and you are going for the long term, the best thing to do is to forget the noise and hold on to the investment for the planned term. Another thing is that you plan to make partial sales in bull markets, as I just mentioned in another thread, but that can be part of the plan.

There is no how anyone who has an investment in bitcoin will totally remove their eyes from the price of bitcoin. Even if it is long term investment, at a point you need to pay attention to the price of bitcoin. Wherever the investment of man is there also his mind will be. But the difference is that a day trader will always have eyes on the price, a short term investors will have eyes once a while and the long term investors may almost seem uninterested about the price.
We can remove our eyes from it, if it causes us anxiety as that can lead to unexpected sell-offs. But even if one is too confident, he can as well leave his investments on the side and he will only come back after some time to harvest his gains.

This is the good thing about Bitcoin. We are sure that it can always recover no matter how low it fall, but if you pick up the risky coins, then you may need to monitor them frequently, as anything can happen to them. Day traders had their eyes glued on their screens or in the market because trading works slightly different from investing. It's hard, time-consuming and everything but worth it once they pull it off successfully.
True, you can fool your eyes but you cant be able to stop on what your mind is thinking and the emotions that had been accompanied to it.  Kiss You know that deep inside you cant really just make yourself that want to miss out on whatever the market is doing specially if you are really that wary on whats happening in the market. It cant really be something that you would really be just avoiding just because you dont want on seeing the market crash or whatever negativity of it but instead on getting the benefit on having no awareness, you might really be able to get the opposite one on which this is something that will really be putting you into a condition on which you would really be going into the opposite side of things when it comes to decision making. Its true that if ever you do make yourself that fully aware about the price then it do build up that confidence but with having the difference when it comes to experience then acts and possible movement or decision be made by a certain individual would be entirely be depending on your own knowledge and the skills you have gained overtime
which it would really differ into each person and this is why you can really tell that actions made will really vary.

~ seeing the price of Bitcoin lately, of course it is not an easy thing for those who are just starting to invest in Bitcoin, but by having a lot of information about Bitcoin, of course they will understand that investing in Bitcoin must have patience so that they can get good profits later. If they don't have good patience, of course they will sell it if they see the current price because they will be worried if the price will go down again and this will make them not get a profit if the price goes up again later.
Everyone who wants to invest in Bitcoin must understand about the volatility of Bitcoin price. Also, everyone must be aware that we are still in the bearish season. Moreover, there are some FUDs spreading around the crypto space lately, it triggers the price to drop a bit. So, if there is a dump or a decrease of the price, it is not something very surprising. I'm sure even a beginner must understand about the current drop in Bitcoin price.

It is all about the mentality and how we trust on Bitcoin. It is not about how long we invest in Bitcoin. If we have a strong mentality and trust on Bitcoin future, we won't give up because of that temporary drop of Bitcoin price. So, make sure that we really believe in Bitcoin before we begin to invest in Bitcoin. Kindly avoid to invest if we are not sure about Bitcoin future.

When the price of Bitcoin is fluctuating and especially going downwards. It does not matter if you are a new investor or an old investor, everyone will definitely have eyes on the price of Bitcoin. This is excluding people that are on a very long-term investment. Even at that at a point, they wouldn still glance at the price of Bitcoin because that is their investment.

Fluctuations are always going on in the cryptocurrency market but when the price of bitcoin falls, newbies tend to panic as compared to experienced people because they are new to the market and are not familiar with the market and volatility. Older investors are familiar with the market so they don't worry about the market falling. Long-term investors also often watch the value of Bitcoin, as whenever the market falls, they have a good opportunity to buy at a lower price.

Day traders are always looking at the price of Bitcoin and whenever there is dip in the market, there is always the tendency of everyone looking the price of Bitcoin to see if it will go below more than the loss they can take. Sometimes it is better to sell at lost than to lose totally.
Although there might not be total loss in bitcoin but if the investor cannot wait until the price comes up again, it is a loss to the investor because they might not use the money when they needed it most.

You are right that in day trading one has to monitor the market all the time and traders try to enter whenever the price of Bitcoin falls. An experienced trader always trades based on his knowledge, experience and analysis. Bitcoin is the most secure currency among all cryptocurrencies and the risk of loss is minimal. There is no possibility of losing one's entire capital. If investors continue to sell their Bitcoin at a loss instead of waiting for the price to recover when the price falls, this decision will always be a loss for them. An experienced investor might not be expected to make such a losing decision, but such decisions are often made by clumsy investors, who try to enter in another place after taking a loss.

In my case, as I have been investing for a long time, first in the stock market and then in Bitcoin, doing DCA, I am indifferent to the current phase. I would like the price to go up and I am looking forward to the next bull market but this is what it is. The only thing I know is that by accumulating Bitcoin, and other assets, little by little in the future I will be better off financially than I am now, besides having part of your wealth in an asset extremely difficult to seize and censure is a plus.

I have never lost hope but there were points of my life that I have sold too early. I don't know, it was a decision that I have agreed to make and then eventually saw the price increase. Those were the times when I needed cash and there was no other source that I could get but from my holdings. I still got to hold but the feeling wasn't the same as before because I could feel the regret but I didn't wanna dive down into that feeling and there was a need to move on. But if it's about the market and it's dropping, I'm not worried but even excited about how high it will recover. This market taught us a lot of life lessons not just from the market alone and holding but also for having tons of patience which is also applicable in other aspects of our lives.

To me the drop in price are the opportunities to buy, nothing more. If you preoccupy yourself with reasons of why it dropped or why it is rising you will never find any answers and will be left in a soup.

Learn to treat these prices as just numbers. Read the news but don't take everything at face value in this sector, unlike stock markets.

Don't lose hope, you have to keep patience and hope in order to play the long term game here.

As a young bitcoiner that is having plans to invest in bitcoin or already investing. How do you feel about the current price of bitcoin?
Still in his usual mood and not affected by the rise and fall of bitcoin prices. Why is that because we already know that there is a correction or recovery process for every bitcoin trip.

* is it encouraging to you that this is an opportunity for you to buy more.
Of course, every time the price decreases, someone will take advantage of it to buy and the method can be adjusted according to the capital capacity they have.

* does it makes you  lose  hope concerning your investment that it should have gone beyond bitcoin current price of $25,835.
Before now many speculators do say by this the price of bitcoin should be around $35,000 by now, and this is the kind of news investors wants to hear all the time but it is unfortunate that the price of bitcoin has drop to $25k which can be heart breaking to some investors expecially the new ones.

Do not let the price of bitcoin right now make you give up on you investment plans, the drop in price is just a distraction to make you take a decision that can make you regret of the better days of the market coming.
When you understand the bitcoin journey process, the decline caused by several events is not a big problem because when bitcoin finds the right moment again, it will definitely get a gradual recovery. Losing hope because it is caused by over-expectations and someone who comes into this industry with no knowledge will definitely experience disappointment, especially if involved in investing or buying at a price that is much more expensive than the current price.

Remain calm and don't panic because bitcoin will recover gradually and for today we have seen much better market conditions compared to the previous few weeks. We will always see a series of declines and recoveries on the bitcoin journey, so the step we need to take is to be patient so as not to cause the investment we make to suffer losses.

I don't think it would be easy to leave our investment in the wallet with no concern for anything in the long term and return only to hear the value has skyrocketed after a while. It could happen, but I don't think many investors do that unless they actually have other income that is 100x the value they invested.
-snip-
Maybe it's just a few investors and it also depends on what they're investing in, so they're not worried about the downturn.

For example, if they hold a lot of ETH in their wallet and they won't worry about a bear market or anything.
But if they're investing money that they still need for other purposes, they're going to be looking at the charts every day and it's going to last a while.

Psychology will really come into play when looking at the charts every day and this will also be a trigger to do stupid things like cut losses or things like that.

You will feel bad when looking at Bitcoin recent falling price and if you want be happy for recent falling price of bitcoin don't think of bitcoin falling and rising again, because when you continue to think of bitcoin price it will make you sell off your bitcoin you invested, so if you don't want to get discouraged as new investor in bitcoin don't think of the market any longer, just concentrate on other investment because bitcoin most surely rise for tye second time, investment in bitcoin is something of endurance and when you endure or have patients in bitcoin you will make profit
Yes, you are right, seeing the price of Bitcoin lately, of course it is not an easy thing for those who are just starting to invest in Bitcoin, but by having a lot of information about Bitcoin, of course they will understand that investing in Bitcoin must have patience so that they can get good profits later. Being new would definitely be that something on a situation which you cant really be able to avoid on not to have those kind of impulsive approach since you arent get used to it. Market movements is something
that do really move on a very random and unpredictable manner on which it is really that truly gives out that kind of emotional shake up specially if you are a newbie. You would really be keeping on watching those charts and watching those price movement specially if you had just invest out recently and tending to look whether you are gaining or losing. On the time that you do have negatives then you would be checking now and then
to look if the negative goes down deeper or have able to recover. Its not really that bad to make some market checks, it is really just that there are ones who are really that too skeptical in towards market volatility
and whether they would be making out with those panic sells or would really be that having the control on trying out to break even and get out or would be able to realize that they should have bought more.

It is better to have some sort of result where it will be a big deal and when you can do that then it is going to be a lot more important. You should forget about your investment whenever you can and that will result with you doing a lot better and you should be making a profit when one day you come back to it when you hear that the price went up a lot.

I know what you're trying to say, but they shouldn't ignore potential security risks. We can just ignore price volatility until the desired target is reached, but every now and then we also need to keep the storage wallet safe just to guard against things that are not desirable.

I think there shouldn't his mind be, that is the trouble. If you keep talking about or thinking about your investment then you are not going to end up getting any good return with it, because you will want to do something with it all the time. I think it is quite important to remember that we are talking about a situation where it is going to end up with a trouble on the long run.

Do not let the price of bitcoin right now make you give up on you investment plans, the drop in price is just a distraction to make you take a decision that can make you regret of the better days of the market coming.

That is just the challenge of investing, my Bitcoin holding was drop a huge percentage and if im going to check it i really lose a huge amount of money with just a few percentage drop but its okey because Im not planning to sell right now im aiming yo sell on the target Bullrun which is probablly 2years from now. This kind of drop was a good opportunity to buy Bitcoin you just need to look at it that way because if your going to focus on your lose for sure emotion might hit and you might end up selling it on a lose price.

In my experience there are always corrections in the market and the sudden drops are necessary for the market to circulate and let the market encourage more investors to go in and start accumulating Bitcoin as well. When the market price skyrocket to more than the all time high there will be a lot of drops and thats much difficult to hodl at that time if your already selling your Bitcoin on a drop like this your never going to survive the drop at the peak for sure so make sure to HODL.

Apart from thinking about profit through investment, some investors also think about feeling affection for Bitcoin if they sell it at a lower price than the price they bought it for. And if there are people who sell Bitcoin because they panic after seeing the price drop in the market, they are not reliable investors with enough patience, but they are just people who don't believe in Bitcoin even though they have bought Bitcoin.
Feeling affection for Bitcoin, what is it?
I guess it makes more sense to think that they would prefer to avoid losses if they sell it at a low price, at least that's the phrase that fits best in my opinion.

Selling at a loss is also not the worst thing to do in some situations, especially if you are thinking about adjusting your strategy. But still, if you sell at a loss then you will definitely think about how to recover the loss which in the end is a bit of a burden on yourself. It's better to hold and distance yourself from the market if you don't have a budget to accumulate during a corrected market.
